Motivation mostly. I have a very busy schedule between college and baseball practice/games and hanging out with my roommates. Mostly it's a time issue. I'm not going to rule out any possibility of future levels because I'm sure an idea will pop in my head sometime in the future that I will be tempted to make.

Well, I played this and.... the title definately fits. This was REALLY weird, but fun! Unfortunately, I have the feeling the combination of silly/difficult/tricky may turn off many players. Many may not give it a chance all the way through. For players that have a good sense of humor, don't mind a few places that take a bit to figure out, and enjoy a quirky style, this level is really excellent. There are definately some really creative gameplay segments I have not seen before - such as trying to keep the 3 spheres in the circle with the plasma.

Thanks CCubbage! I definitely did not expect this level to have nearly as much success as my previous ones. I made this level as I went, without planning anything, and I only worked on it when I was in a creative slump during Hoola Man Jenkin's Cabin. BTW, does anyone know how to make the video in my first post show up as a video and not a link?

I played this earlier and it was pretty fun. I actually could not figure out the floaty/jet pack/plasma puzzle, and I broke the level in the process of trying. It's actually possible to pull the floaties out through the entrance; and seeing that it was possible, I thought perhaps this was part of the solution. I ended up losing one of them completely. But in the process of screwing around and trying to solve it, I was actually able to push one of the "power-down" X's out of the way resulting in free reign, total access to your level (via jet pack). I looked at some of your logic, flew around (as in: circumvented) the unsolved yellow glass room, cheated on the race (w/ the help of the jet pack), then dropped the jet pack and continued through the rest of the level to the end. It was definitely wierd, but I had fun. Some parts of it looked really unpolished, while others had a great (albeit, very eclectic) aesthetic to them. I think the puzzle needs more definition/hints - I'm not a great platformer, but I'm usually pretty good when it comes to puzzles, and I just didn't get it. And you may want to glue down the "power-down" X's (what are these things actually called, anyway?). I do hope you find inspiration again and don't give up completely on LBP!
