yah i came on to see my rep had gone from +11 to -11...and it wouldn't tell me why!...is it messed up...or did someone just do this to me!...(i'm scared) can someone explain what you think!!!...i meen... i always try to be nice...not bratty...if anything playfull!

That seems mighty strange... probably a glitch because I doubt people would do that to many people, expecially since you are newer to the forums. Hope you figure this out

Well that's wierd. Check your user CP and it should tell you the reasons why you've lost rep. If it doesn't then it's just messed up. (User CP is at the top-left).

I think you shouldn't worry about rep. Positive or negative. If people don't like your post they can tell just like they can if they like them. /opposes rep, karma, kudos

If you only received one or two negative reps, it means that the people who gave you the rep are "esteemed" members of the forums. People with more rep have more influence with their rep. For example, receiving rep from ConfusedCartman would most likely add 50+ points to your rep.

You lost experience when you weren't on because... well, because you weren't on. It probably takes your average time on the site, posting and what not, and if you went below that average you lost some points. Not to worry though, this isn't something new, it's been here since the site began, you just never were able to tell until the new option was up. Since the OP's question has been answered, I'll go ahead and lock this now.
