Resizing Checkpoints/Entrance Doesn't Work Now?

Archive: 7 posts

Okay, I am having a problem right now that I hope someone can help me with.

I've resized checkpoints, scoreboards, etc before plenty of times, although it's been a while. But when I just went to resize the entrance for one of my levels I'm working on, it wouldn't work.

Now my memory might be bad on me, but I thought the trick was to capture an un-resizable object and then select it from the Goodies Bag and it could be resized.

Since it's not working, then one of the following two things has to be the problem . . .

1. My memory is bad, and the trick actually involves an emitter, and then capture, or

2. MM fixed this in a patch

So can anyone tell me what the problem is please. I'd really appreciate it.

You have to use an emitter.

1. Capture checkpoint.

2. Put it in emitter with infinite life, and size it there.

3. When it comes out, capture that version.

Thank you so much! I was kind of thinking in my mind I used an emitter when I've done it in the past. I guess I was right.

Again, thank you. ^_^

Nice! I didn't know how to reduce scoreboards.

Is there any great gliches NOT involving emitters? LOL -- I should have known!

you can still use already saved ones if you don't have one then just find a glitches level and find one with a resized checkpoint as a prize.2009-10-22 13:30:00
