Greetings I'm new here!

Hey everyone I'm new here and I've just dropped in to give a formal hello. I've been playing LBP for a couple months now and I have a grand total of 8 levels that almost nobody has played. But that is a common woe in the world of LBP that I'm sure most of the creator population faces.

I've joined this site to hopefully promote my levels while at the same time meet other good creators who are under the spot light as well. I create levels with stories to them and each level I create gets better and better. If you like deep story lines and attractive looking levels then you'll love my stuff. I'm also looking for creators with similar interests in level creation.

If you would like to play through my "The Last Day" series you can, it's the best one. The third installment is the best so far but the other two are pretty fun too.

Hi there Fertile Decline! Welcome to LBPC : ) That's an interesting username... you're not going through menopause are you?
Anyhoo, if you check out the Level Showcase you'll find the best opportunity to promote your levels. There's a great F4F (feedback 4 feedback) system and if you get enough comments you could make it to the Cool Pages and get even more plays (as we go there to find great levels to try out that are often under the Sony 'Cool Pages' radar). Make sure you read the instructions first. Levels that are extra special can get "Spotlighted" on the Community Spotlight which is produced fortnightly. Lots to think about there.

BabyDoll1970 is correct that the Level Showcase is an awesome way to get exposure for you levels as well as getting great feedback and help you improve as a creator.

Oh... and just an fyi, use the edit button to avoid double posting.

Cool thanks everybody! Once you've think you've come close to mastering level making there's just a whole other component you were unaware of. Currently I'm looking into ways of making multi-dimensional levels with extreme length to them. I'm just now discovering all the ways to conserve the thermometer and that was always a concern of mine when first starting out.2009-10-21 21:47:00

LOL, I was wondering the same thing, thinking ... hmmm a potential member for the WSM (short for a little social group called the WizenedSackMates)?

Welcome! We have a lot of creators around here that make levels with stories in them so your in good company For thermo tips check out comphermc's tutorial about how thermo works. I've learned a lot from it. Have fun!2009-10-22 03:03:00
