Hi peeps, i need help again as im useless with certain situations! lol I currently have one account on my ps3 (fenderjt) and need to create another one for my little sister and brother who want to play lvp but with a different user name, own pod etc How do i create a new psn without and will it affect my fenderjt account? I dont want anything to happent to my fenderjt account! I tried going on create a new user and then it said, sign up to online network but i didnt carry on as i thought this might affect my fenderjt online network. Please can someone explain to me how to do it and if it will affect my fenderjt account. Thank you

Each new account will need it's own email to sign up for the Network. I used yahoo mail as it's free but any service should work. Just set up an email account on the computer (must be unique to the psn id) Then create your new account on your PS3. Once the account is set up if you try to sign on you'll have to sign up for a Network account. Use the new email you created and voila your all set. Your original account shouldn't be affected at all from the new accounts.

Oh i see, so i just use a new email and sign in name and have it under a different account. Thank you for your help Morgana!!!

Actually, it ASKS for an email address but it doesn't need to be legitimate... only formatted like an email ("goobledeegook32@comcast.com" for instance). I was able to setup sub-accounts using fake email addresses.

Make sure you set any extra accounts as a Sub-Account. Sub accounts allow you use the DLC you bought on your main account, on the sub-accounts. (Although, maybe you can do that without one, too...) You can also set online restrictions, like chatting, or if you only want that account to be able to play games rated Everyone-Teen... (I'd never even bother with either of those, anyway...) For a sub account, you have to be under 18. Your brother and sister are under 18, right? You also need to make a new file on your Ps3 to have another PSN account.
