Diagnosed with H1N1. >:C

Archive: 28 posts

Well, my Xbox 360 died, my Dad got bronchitis, I've been rushing to get a school project done, I forgot to pre-order Borderlands, and now I can't go to school for a week because of the darn Swine Flu.

ಠ_ಠ
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF F

So, when was YOUR last 'bad day'?

Sorry I'm going to have to lock this because I don't want anyone else catching the flu. Again, sorry.

Locked.

I kid, I kid. Hope you get well soon though. I had the swine flu for about a week.

Sounds quite bad.

I might have had swine flu in some form a little while ago... we are not sure. I felt pretty awful though.

Also, it's my birthday tomorrow. I hope that will cheer you up! (Errrr...)

Don't feel bad my bad day was a few days ago. I started off the day trying to relax then my mom gets mad at me and I do this book report. Then I get a call from my dad saying that he wanted me to come over when I got there he told me he would be dead in a week and then I got a cough.2009-10-20 17:28:00

Today isn't a great day...one year on from my fathers death...
On a happier note I'm going to get this swine flue on my birthday aren't I? Wait that's not happy!
Um...er...I'm falling behind at college? No!
Ah screw it...

I seriously hope you aren't trying to be funny. And if you aren't, i'm sorry to hear that.

I've had many bad days, but none of them are things i particularly want to talk about.

Wow, that's at least the third fifth person from LBPC that has had swine flu recently. Hmm... maybe it can be transmitted through the interwebz...

Korn, too!? Edited. I won't call anyone else out, but I can name 5 right now - and there's probably more.

I think swine flue is a common thing in my life now xD

At first it was all scareh and stuff but now i'm pretty sure i've had it for like a month - it's like a slow battle between the virus and my immune system

Some days the flu will start winning and i'll start getting really really ill and then the next day i'll just be a bit sniffly

Sorry bit off-topic, just thought it was interesting xD

How funny you should post this, today's the worst day I've had in a loooooooooooooooong time.

Half my homeroom, there are guys I've known since the 2nd grade, came in wearing stickers supporting my opponent in the student council elections. In 2nd period my History teacher called me out for not wearing a belt after I decided not to call him out for spelling relevant wrong. In 4th period I saw I got a B on my math test and I also saw I am on probation within the NJHS. (Google it) In other words EVERYTHING that could have gone wrong today did.

Now compare your swine flu, which isn't as half as bad as regular flu anyways, to my horrendous day. To top it off, the Abbey Road DLC for Beatles Rock Band, my one silver lining in this black cloud, isn't out yet. And I have a research paper due tomorrow.

I've had some pretty bad days. I think that October 25th, 2005 was probably the worst if I can pick a day. That was the day my mother died after a 3 year struggle with brain cancer, and the day that the doctor misdiagnosed a rib disorder that would ruin my life for the next two years by saying "it's all in your mind"... it was not.

I'm better now though, and I pray that you will be better soon, so chin up! ^_^

From what I hear, swine isn't bad as long as you take medication for it and take care of yourself. One of the guys in our pressroom had it, and he recovered just fine.

My last bad day was.... like yesterday. I had 4 business assignments due (I wasn't even behind >.<). ALSO, my parents are screaming at me for having to do so much work at once and for not starting ahead of time even though i told them it was assigned the day of. Then, I got a C on an earlier assignment that my teacher DIDN'T EVEN READ. She just assumed I did it wrong because it wasn't a 2003 Microsoft Word file. @_@

One thing I hate more? Having to run around trying to find out if there is a Microsoft Publisher program that is compatible with a Mac. Apparently there isn't and so I was unable to do 2 assignments. What does that mean? Two big fat ZEROS. What does THAT mean? My 80 average will be down to a 45 within 2 days. And My parents continue to yell, ground and take away from me.

Sorry about those who have had loved ones pass away, that is far worse than my experience.

You got swine flu too? I got it a few weeks ago, not a pretty thing, but I wouldn't call it a really bad day. In fact, I don't think I've ever had a really bad day.2009-10-21 00:45:00

Ah, bad days, I've had a few. Mostly dealing with the incomprehensibly arrogant, idiotic, sadistic...uh..."people" who are prevalent in my school.

To be fair, I had three years of bad days. I had CFS/ME for three years, ended a year and a half ago, still recovering (ie, building up stamina etc.), so every day was a stream of depression

All better now, though. Man, did it suck sometimes though. And it was so disheartening at times - being coerced into skiing for <1 hour on a family trip and being stuck in bed with pounding migraine for 3 days, or that time when I thought I was getting better as I hadn't felt all too bad for 2 weeks+, so I went on a small run, only, like, 3 minutes of running, and had a migraine for 2 days. Ah, they were the worst of days, they were the worst of days.

Never had a proper bad day. I normally get worked up over not having done some work but I always find a way.

Medical-wise I've been fine; after my D of E at Dartmoor I knackered my knees so I ocassionally couldn't walk but that was easy to deal with (just crawled until the strength came back ).

I had a pretty nasty cough n cold for 3-4 weeks but I just held on. I did infect the whole school but I'm not risking missing one day of lessons just for other peoples health

You mean like doing coursework at 1AM?

It was my Bday yesterday and it was quite good! I got a HD PS3 recorder so I can film levels and make machinimas and the likes.

Although I did have to go back to school for 2 hours for some curriculum eveing that was incredibly boring and I have coursework due in today (Thursday) which I have to do now (1AM) because loads of people came to see me.

I shouldn't complain though as it was an alright day and today is the last day til half-term so I can do whatever I want very soon.

Hmmm... a bad day for me?

Well, first off, I gots the chimera virus (curse you Hybrid ). But that was a while ago anyways, so it'll wear off soon... I think.

A horrible day happened last week. My football team and I were pumped to go to our next game, since we were 5-0 (Go Eagles!!). But, after a failed kickoff return and horrible plays by the offense, we lost 13-6. We finally got beat (boy, that felt awful ). What was even worse was that players were talking smack out of the bus windows so coach gave us 3 "Big 4"s (trust me, they're awful). I swear, I almost fell apart when I got home, considering I worked my butt off in that game and recieved consequences for other peoples' actions. Ah well, at least now it's come to pass and I can look forward to next game.

I wouldn't worry too much about H1N1. Hey, it's a free week of no school!
