Yellow bird sings the chocobo theme

Archive: 6 posts

This was recently posted on the Dissidia boards over at gamefaqs, and I thought it was awesome!

Also, around 3:20 it sings the victory theme. It's also funny how it screeches at its owner to stop trying to whistle at the same time.

That's awesome, but I find it hard to believe it's real. 2009-10-20 02:05:00

Too cute! I remember seeing a Cockatiel sing the Andy Griffth theme song on America's Funniest Home videos. Wish mine could sing, she's always laying eggs and when she's not she just screechs at the top of her voice when I'm not around 2009-10-20 04:30:00

Good but the Lyre Bird is still the best.

I was very surprised when our Cockatiel started laying eggs, we had been informed it was male when we bought it. She really hated me after I took her first egg.

Can't argue with that, that bird is pretty surreal. It's kind of amazing the things nature can do that we would never think possible.

Cockatiels appear to be musically inclined from the few other videos I've seen on youtube. This particular bird's owner seems to be Japanese, and I've seen videos of trained japanese flies and goldfish, so I'm inclined to believe someone could teach a bird to sing video game songs.

It almost makes me want to get one of those birds and train it, even though I generally dislike the noisy things. I won't though because I don't like keeping caged animals.

Wow its almost the same story with me. The store we got it from thought she was a boy too, cause I think males usually have all yellow up top while females don't like the vid for example.

EDIT: Oh here I found this, wasn't really paying attention to what the bird was singing but the bird on the left (the one singing) looks EXACTLY like mine.....and yet she's a girl

YouTube - The singing cockatiel

Whats funny here. Is she bites hard when someone other than me puts there hand in the cage. For me she just touches my hand, with her beak not bite
