Not so much "Hello!" but rather "Hello again!"

Archive: 17 posts

So, hello again.

I'm not new, but since I haven't posted in several months I felt it would at least be somewhat appropriate to drop a post in the 'introductions' forum.

"Well, where the heck have you been??" you ask. Good question. Without going into the boring details of my real life experiences, I'll just say that it was an interesting summer. Some great things happened, some terrible things happened, some really interesting things happened, and some very dull things happened. I didn't play LBP much since July, due largely to excessive out-of-town travel (for fun) and a growing re-addiction to Gran Turismo.

All things being equal, my love of LBP never really went away, it just took a little vacation. (Or would that be a little big vacation? No matter.) I did find time during the summer to chisel away at the game here and there and finally earned my platinum trophy, and of course I have religiously purchased all the expansion packs that MM has released. I haven't published any new levels, and my work-in-progress project I started in February (!) is *still* incomplete.

I am slowly getting back into playing community levels here and there, and I am really excited about the upcoming release of LBP PSP. Most importantly, I am looking forward to reconnecting with the best LBP community out there: This one! So, for all you who already know me, I'm back. For those of you I don't know, well met.

I got into a rut with that project level... I decided it was too much like a sight-seeing tour and didn't include enough actual playing. I made some adjustments, then got stuck again on the boss fight / finale. I nearly had that figured out when I got sucked into the golf challenge. Immediately following that point, cue dramatic summer and there my level sits, collecting dust. Well heck, I guess I'll just have to finish it now.

Hey Taffey. Don't you agree that Zapdos is the most disappointing Pokemon in Pokemon history? Seriously, you waste all those Ultra Balls for a mediocre pokemon who my Pikachu is WAAAY better than. All of the generation one legendaries were disappointingly weak, but Zapdos was the worst of them all, Articuno being the best.2009-10-19 04:37:00

Hello there, Taffey! Nice to meet you - I'm BabyDoll1970. My husband's sign in is sometimes Taffy (no 'e&apos so I have quite an affinity with that name. Hope you enjoy being back and sounds like you'd better get on with that level!

Cheers!

Cheers!Hiya! Small world with the Taffy thing. In case you're wondering why I add the 'e', it's a movie reference. Come to think of it, most of my levels are based on movies as well... Including the new one. And my avatar. Hmm, perhaps I need a new source of inspiration.

Meh! If it's working for you, why mess with the muse? I'll have to check out your levels. My hubby goes under Taffy because it's a Welsh derivative of his actual name. He's not Welsh, though... odd really
