What a surprise (Birthday)

Archive: 13 posts

It's my 30th birthday on mon (22nd) and 50 of my friends and family surprised me at a meal near tower bridge in London.
Went there with my fiancee thinking it was just a meal for 2 (it was her birthday on the 18th too) but as i walked in the restaurant everyone was there and sang happy birthday to me and it surprised the hell out of me.
I've told my fiancee i'm never gonna trust her again as she was far too good at lying to me for the last 2 weeks while she was arranging everything lol

Was wondering if anyone else has ever been surprised in some way before

thats a pretty neat surprise.

One question, did she picked up the check? If you expected a dinner for two and ended up needing to pay for a full guest list... lol, thats one huge birthday present

happy advance birthday my friend

Well, I haven't really, but my step dad, for his 60th birthday last year, was suprised by his entire family from New England (we're in Pennsylvania) driving down. He was at the spa with my mom when they all arrived, and everyone's cars were moved to a thrift store or whatever further down so that when he and my mom came back from what he thought was his suprise, he would go through the door (we were avoiding the windows) and just see his entire extended family in the house for a parrty. Yep, he liked that since his family is very family oriented.

But for me, no, not really.

I've had one surprise party till now, and it was this year's birthday.
Thing is, I was more surprised than most people. Usually you can expect them. By this one I couldn't.

I had a small party on my actual birthday. (It was just me and like 7 of my closest friends)
The surprise party happened a few days later...So I can say that I was quite surprised <_< That day, I hardly found ANYTHING to do.

Me and my friends were supposed to do something, but they all canceled. I called several others, but everyone said they were busy. I was like "WTF, is everyone having a secret party?!" (Oh the Irony)
But then, 1 of my friends was suddenly free. So we went to the theater, watched a movie, then went back home ._.
Waited a while, another was suddenly free. We went bowling...And same thing happened, he went back home after that.
The were REALLY trying my patience.
An hour later, few of my friends call and tell me to go to a Chili's restaurant.
Went there, was surprised, got the heart attack <_<

I did go to several surprise parties too
