Welcome to the LBPC quiz! It's time to see how much you know about LBPC- or how well you can search LBPC.

There are 30 questions, totaling 42 points. A few basic rules:

1. Pm me (RockSauron) the answers. Posting the answers in this thread automatically gets you disqualified.
2. You have one shot- only your first Pm with the answers sent to me counts.
3. If you answer a question correctly, you have the points added to your total.
4. If you answer it incorrectly, it subtracts the points from your total.
5. If you leave an answer blank, it does not affect your total at all.
6. For questions worth multiple points, every few answers gives you a certain amount of points.
6. This contest ends Friday, October 23rd.

Yeah, I kinda made it based off REAL old stuff... stuff pretty much everyone here will have to search real hard.

question: How are you scoring question 9.... do you have to have them ALL correct or is it a half point for a correct and a half point for each wrong?

Was a bit tricky- So I decided to grade it like such:

If you get at least two mods right (shouldn't be too hard if you know ones that already exist ) you get 1 point and no way to lose points. If you get no mods right and try to answer (don't laugh, SLS10 actually did this ;o) you get minus 7 points- if you get at least 2 right you get 1 point added, and an extra point for every two you get right but you can't lose points if you get at least 2 wrong.

Make sense?

Anyway... So far, 4 users have scored above a 15, and Code has told me not to give him exp... so I owe 850 points so far ;o

Well, I've decided to regrade question number 23 to include multipleanswers, because it CAN be interpreted a couple of ways. So people who voted the other answer may have an extra point once I read through them all...

Yep, part of me also wanted this to show you guys "old" LBPC, and get a bit of the history. Plus it is a treasure hunt, which is funner- not to mention I won't lose as much exp due to everyone knowing the answers

Anyway, three more days! I'll probably have this last until whenever I wake up on Saturday (probably around 8 a.m. Eastern- my dog wakes me up early :/) so anything before I wake up will count.

I couldn?t agree more. It was really interesting getting a flavour of what the ?old? LBPC was like and who the characters were in the beginning. Funny but you just sort of assume the site has always been the way it is now but of course it's changing all the time as people come and go.

I got about 60% filled in from memory but I hardly know anything about the old days so "the search" is what I still have to do right now.

Bad timing on my part - I've been on holiday for a week and so missed the end of the quiz. Just wanted to say again what fun it was and what a fascinating magical mystery tour of LPBC it was too! Thanks to Rock, who I now realise is the fount of all LBPC knowledge or should that be keeper of the sacred flame of LBPC, LPBC patriarch...I?d better stop...
