Pay for a prize bubble?

I'm trying to think of a way to make it so you have to pay for a prize bubble. Maybe by collecting a certain amount of point bubbles. Help? | 2009-10-18 01:02:00 Author: Sunrise_Moon Posts: 469 |
do you mean to pay with point bubbles? if so, the only way i know how to get rid of points is to kill yourself. but that wouldnt work. Another way you could do it is to make a counter which counts how many points you have: by attaching magkeys to points and having a magswitch inverted nearby, you can tell when the player collects them, although this may be quite bad for the thermo, its the only way i can think of. then somehow when the player dies you would need to take a percentage off. Or you could make them sacrifice some points, either by dying or them not collecting points - ie have them choose between lots of points or the prize. Depends hoW many point bubbles you have, but it can be easy Put a magnetic key switch next to every point bubble (or group of point bubbles), that only has the range of the point bubbles near it. Put a magnetic key on every point bubble, (or group of point bubbles) too. Make each magnetic key inverted so it turns on when you collect the point bubble (or yet again, group of point bubbles.) Then, attach each magnetic key to an OR switch. Make a paintball emmiter high up in the air and aim at at a piece of dark matter with a paint switch on it. Make the OR switch one shot, and connect the OR switch to the paint emmiter. Finally, attach the paint SWITCH to some kind of dissolve or emmiter that emits the prize bubble. If you want to collect 20 bubbles for instance, set the paint switch to 20. Each time you collect one point bubble, it fires one paintball at the paint switch. Hope this helps!
