PSN Blossoming

Seriously, the PSN is getting a ton of games that I'm interested in. Super Sonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars - longest. title. ever. I'll call it SSARPBC; like that's better - actually looks like a lot of fun. Who wouldn't want to play soccer with SSARPBCs?

Then there's WipEout HD. Besides the random capitalization, I've always been a WipEout fan, and this looks awesome. Great graphics, great gameplay, great price.

Fat Princess looks really fun as well. I really love games like that: fun, fast, replayable. Flower has gotten an incredible amount of critical praise. The quality games are really starting to pile up. I'll be spending a lot of money on the PSN in the upcoming months.

yeah there's so many good games coming out on PSN.

It's cheaper for the developers (i think) then BD games so you get smaller studios developing more niche games for us that aren't as expensive as regular games.

Win win situation!

I think Q4 is October-December because those 3 months are the last 1/4 of the year but you can never be certain with games companies, they may be basing it on the financial year or their own year end.2008-09-21 13:28:00

I realized that after I posted, but didn't want to edit.

Anyway, if they base it on the financial year, then it won't come out till like Feb/March. I hope it's the actual year.

Yeah, Fat Princess looks really fun but also looks really stupid. It is sort of like LittleBigPlanet how people say it is for little kids when it is actually fun for everyone2008-09-21 16:53:00

I haven't been interested in that many games in PSN. I bought SSHD and regret it now... I suck at it and don't enjoy playing it... just not my sort of game. However Pixeljunk Monsters and Eden were well worth my money. Excellent games. And Bionic Commando is amazing, so much fun to play while retaining some challenge (though not as ridiculously challenging as the original)... not exclusive to PSN but it's much better to play with a PS3 control than a 360 control.

I'm really looking forward to Flower. Just honestly cannot wait for that game. Also considering buying Burnout when it releases on PSN though I may buy the hard copy... I just prefer owning a disc. Depends whichever is cheaper really... I can get it for 24 euro delivered. I may get Wipeout HD, I kind of like the PSP games though for some reason I preferred Pure to Pulse. Online should be great on PS3 though so I am seriously considering it.

Never heard of this Super Sonic (etc) game before. Sounds intriguing... though incredibly challenging... I mean imagine drivin a car at top speed and trying to accurately hit a huge football around. Still it has potential.

I shared to get a number of other games though haven't played them yet. College & my PSP are keeping me busy .

I'm the exact opposite, pillay. Loved SSHD, hated Pixeljunk. Lots of variety, I guess. 2008-09-21 20:04:00
