Annoying Create.... bug?

Archive: 10 posts

I seem to be experiencing a bug ( I think) In LBP create mode. Its to do with the levels I've made not saving properly despite the fact that the game appears to have saved and I have a save with a date/time after the time I finished the level. So far its only affected one level I've been working on.
Anyone else experience this/something similar?

It's been reverting to previous saves for me as well if that is what you are talking about. I recently made a mechanism for someone, and when I loaded up LittleBigPlanet to publish it, it was all gone and only the beginning stages were there.2009-10-16 19:34:00

Did you turn off the console after saving manually, but without exiting to your pod and waiting for the autosave symbol to disappear first?

Have you got loads of levels, stickers, objects, costumes and pod decorations on your profile, or did you get a message saying your profile was too large?

Either of these things will prevent your level from saving properly.

yeah I just made a thread half an hour ago about the exact same thing....

I found a way around it.

when done creating press save. Return to pod and wait for the sackboy running icon to disappear. Then publish your level locked. Go to the published level and copy it back to your moon. Then wait for the icon to disappear again.

There you go. That's it safely saved.

There the thanks button down there lolz

If your profile cannot be saved, what good does copying the level back to your moon do?

The "Profile can't be saved" issue isn't what we are talking about here. The issue here is that even though it seems like the level has been saved, it's gone the next time you load up LittleBigPlanet. Apparently publishing it and copying it back gets the message across.
