I was just looking over at Little Big Land and saw this: http://www.littlebigland.com/little-big-planet-dlc/seasonal-costumes-may-be-coming-back/ The article contains a quote from Sam_Protagonist, the Mm employee who runs LittleBigWorkshop, saying this: Extra content that will never return to be available will always be marked as such, and will be representative of special edition content ? like the Week 1 Tshirt. It's appreciated that North America never had the chance to pick up the Tshirt, but it was always intended to be a rare and exclusive item for a very limited period of time (hence the price) which is why it cannot be released again as it would undermine this intention. So costume collecters that live in NA, like myself, will never have a complete collection. At least he promises that all future special edition content will be available everywhere and the seasonal stuff will come back..

So the actual story here is that the seasonal stuff is coming back... Coolio. The comment about the spacesuit is a bit cryptic though the space suit will also return to be available when there is a new game launched. Would this be LBP2, LBPPSP or some other game.... Hmmmm.

I must agree, the people that supported the game from week 1 should be rewarded especially with all that DLC out there. I dont like the idea that THE ONE Costume that makes a difference will be given out to anyone else. We were the ones that had to bare with all the bugs and server problems for months.... So yeah I can agree with ARD.

I am pleased to hear they'll be re-releasing the spacesuit. It may anger some people who want to be known as originally having the game but thats what the week one shirt was for wasnt it? And the annual re-releasing of the seasonal stuff seems like a no-brainer to me, although I would like to see them make some more though.

Well I'm glad to hear that people will have the chance to get any of the seasonal DLC some of us already have... it's only fair really. I am however, a little disappointed that they might not be releasing new seasonal DLC. I would hope they release the original stuff, plus add a new costume for each holiday. Though that might be asking a bit too much, I can still dream can't I? As for the week one "t", meh... I could care less as it really has no costume customization bonuses.

costumes on LBP have zero value. You can't give them away, trade them or sell them. Sou outside of sentiment/love of collecting, I don't see the big deal

I just think that the people who bought the game early and had to deal with the very bad online function and creator mode (not to mention the whole bunch of bugs), should get something unique for it. Especially since they told us it would be. (I dont care if its available on the PSP though) I dont think you people know how it was back then. You couldnt get online, if you could, you couldnt connect to other players, if you could, you couldnt play because of the heavy lag. In create mode, you couldnt use the rewind function because of heavy lag (yeah you heard right the offline creator connected frequently with the server, causing that annoying lag), or how your whole level could break down because of the buggy glue system. I am really glad that most of the stuff is fixed and im even happy for the people that bought the GOTY version with all the extra content. But please let us have our free space suit! =D

I wasn't broke, but I hadn't bought anything from the store yet and I couldn't be bothered to sort out all the credit card details for a measly shirt. So I nabbed the pumpkin costume and the spacesuit and off I went. The pumpkin costume disappeared though :/ So I guess it's cool that we'll get a chance to get that again soon, but I'm glad the shirt isn't back. No, I didn't get it, but at least with that they realise what exclusive means. I'd also like to point out that I got LBP about a week or so after the spacesuit disappeared from the store. That 'you must own LittleBigPlanet to download this item' message is bull****.

Weren't the Nariko and Kratos costumes supposed to be exclusive? Personally, I don't think the spacesuit costume is that meaningful. Everyone I have played with has been more annoyed by the fact they couldn't get the Valentine's Day pack than the spacesuit.

By that argument none of the seasonal stuff should come back. Ever. They were all limited edition and therefore essentially exclusive. At the end of the day, no one actually benefits from it being exclusive for ever, whereas thousands of people will benefit from the valentines pack re-release, for example. Is that really a bad move, doing something that thousands of your customers will benefit from?

I spent a lot of extra money so I could have my copy at my house on time to get the shirt. I WAS there on day one, in fact I was there a day before it. It was not called The Week One T-Shirt For Everyone Except For North America. In fact, before launch Mm posted that it was going to be available everywhere. Then they said that there was a problem and that they were going to try to find a way to get it over here. I would not be upset if they had just said a year ago that they had no plans on giving it to us. I am happy to get an answer (even if it was not the one that I was hoping for), but there is no reason that they could not have told us earlier. And there is no regular T-shirt costume. There is just the short-sleeve shirt costume that looks nothing like the T-shirt and is lame because it is skin tight and tucks under the zipper.

The only way you can share costumes is if you logged on to the person's PS3 (which I highly recomend you don't) and downloaded it. Even so, that would only work if the person was in the same region as you, since DLC is region locked.
