The Collaborative Anti-Writer's Block Thread!

Archive: 2 posts

I'm making this thread here for all of those people who have seen things in real life, commercials, tv shows, levels on various video games, and immediately went "Oh wow, that gives me an awesome idea for LBP!" But are too busy too actually do it.

On top of that, feel free to post interesting pictures to work from, boss ideas, cool contraptions that would look good in.

I'll start it off with a game that could very easily be converted into LBP, here's a two of my favourites:

Lets get some more in here!

I had an idea recently that I don't really have the time to execute. It's not based on anything particular, just my twopence.

You start off in a specimen cage in a poorly lit room. The lights turn up sligtly, and someone comes to hook you out of your cage for examination. As he is taking you somewhere, there is a massive crash and something hurtles down through the roof, taking the scientist down beneath the floor, leaving you free to escape. You make your way out of the building via corridors, ventilation shafts etc., every so often seeing another scientist meet the same end. Eventually, you make it out into open air- just as our monster does. You have to escape it, Skulldozer-style, to get to the finish.

As I said, just an idea, and probably done before, but someone needs to get the ball rolling!
