How about coloured usernames?

| At some points, things are a bit confusing. When I first joined, it felt like no mod was ever on, due to me not memorizing the staffs names. <_< So, what I feel you guys should do is: Admins should get their own colour. Mods should get their own colour. | I agree with Cartman, it's a good idea, even though I've already memorized the names of almost everyone, and looking at the word "Admin" or "Mod" helps too. But I think this idea would be more helpful to new comers. It's only for the new comers, to difference out staff from the normal members right from the start. Different colors might get a bit unwieldy... I'd like certain people's names to be in bold though... that'd be nice... Then again, I'm not a very colorful person... >_> Mods in bold! Admin: Sky Blue Mods: Purple Gold: Orange Elite: Red Banned: Gray And normal members should stay normal of course. | Looks great. It distinguishes, but it's well subdued, meaning it doesn't SCREAM IN YOUR EYES THAT THIS USER IS WHATEVER TYPE OF USER THEY ARE!!!ONE!11! (Which is all too common, I've found. The only admining I've done was for an Invision board, meaning the moderators and admins were automatically marked, and I never found any other type of option. Which was good, actually, because the groups and permissions in those was so horribly convoluted that it'd be very bad to have to handle that. Not eye shattering yet if you're looking for one of the colours, you will find it. EDIT: Although, might I make a suggestion about the redesign of the Events and Contest threads. I'm not a fan of the current state. Each section has very few threads, so instead of merging them by creating 2 sub-sections, why not just go ahead and merge them alltogether. Call it Events & Contests or whatever. I like checking up on the contests, see what everyone is up to, so I just find that however small, one more step to get to that section is unnecessary and slightly annoying. Why put them together at all if they aren't the same? That's just me though, maybe others will voice their opinion this time tomorrow. We all have our favorite colours, but these are very well suited to the site and its colour-scheme. I believe Cartman is also avoiding BRIGHT colours so that it doesn't distract from everything around it. (i.e. I like my new gold colour just the way it is xD... I didn't suggest coloured usernames so it the site could become a rainbow, or too seem cooler than others, I suggested it so people can make the difference between Staff, Elites/Gold, and normal members. Can you imagine how confused new members would be if they saw 10 different colours in the member's list? Also, I'd just like to add that this always happens.
