It's a bit annoying how I have to type a lowercase p in instead of doing an uppercase one. Nothing major, but I actually just recently discovered that it only works with a lower case p...

How about it works for both? I alwas use because its easyer to type when holding shift and not taking it off.

I agree. I'm used to typing and I still get it wrong sometimes when quickposting. Would be nice if both worked, but it's not the end of the world.

Not to be mean, but this is really minor and petty. I strongly doubt there's a post on this forum where the difference between and actually caused problems, but I would love to be proved wrong.

Yes, but it's annoying when you want the smiley to appear and it doesn't... Plus actually looks like a face whereas : p just looks weird (IMO)

It took me a long time to figure out that was lowercase lol. Is it possible you could make it so we can change it for us in the CP?

The fact that has been established here is that you'll just have to get used to letting go of the shift key before pressing "p". Saying it aloud just makes it seem even more trivial.
