As always...begging for some help I need to make a redux of my level. I understood that my thermo overheated because the sections were too close, so I have to make some space if I want to tweak some stuff. The great problem is that the game doesn't allow me to move sections. I cut a piece of level (all the 3 thick planes + the 4 thin), I selected it, but I cannot move it from its position. Is there something else/more that I have to do? Or is the thermo so much overheated that I can't move stuff? Thanks in advance

How do you select that part of the level? By hovering over it and pressing X? If so, it is very probable that you can't move it. Objects connected with pistons, winches etc. do not get selected with the main object, but prevent it from moving. Just press and hold X and drag a box around your whole block of stuff. If this doesn't help, search for things which may block the path, or check if your stuff is glued to the floor. I don't think that thermo overheat might prevent things from moving, at least as far as my knowledge goes.

Yeah, I box selected the area, it is floating thanks to dark matter and it has nothing on his right side (where I want to move it)

Most of the time when you try to move something and the game doesn't let you, the obstructing object will flash red for a second. For example, create a level with one checkpoint and a couple objects. Box select all of them and hit delete. The checkpoint will turn red because you can't delete (without crushing) a checkpoint if it is the only one in the level. Also, do you have Grid Mode on? I've noticed that moving objects in bulk is harder with Grid Mode on.

Copy the entire section to My Objects, instead of moving it, if you are able. Paste the block into a new, blank level on your moon. Tweak it there, then delete the section from original level. Now, you can glue the section back in, with space and thermo, whenever you're ready.
