Well, I have been looking for a good bass amp for a while but can't seem the right one to fit my needs I was wondering if LBPC can help me with this? The amp I need must be under 600$ please. I'm not gonna go very much over it.... IT also needs to be heard over a drumset and TWO Line 6 spider valve 212! I was looking along the lines of Fender Rumble 100 but its not as loud as I'd expect... Thanks to anyone who tries to help me

Who was stupid enough to buy a Spider? >_< edit: I would suggest asking on www.ultimate-guitar.com for anything related to guitar/bass, as they know far more than the majority of people here. Just.. Don't mention the spider lol

The spiders don't do any one tone well, the cleans are sterile, the overdrive sounds really really digital. And the amp models sound nothing like the amps they are modeling.... There are far better out there - the Peavey Vypyr tubes are good if you need a modeling amp, but they would have been better with a normal tube amp, then running pedals through for the other tones....

Yeah lol. but definitley check out the UG forums and ask in the bass area if you want to know about bass amps. Give them your price range, styles you like, gigging or not, new or used etc. etc. and they will get you the best one they can
