Sup everyone....!? Several ppl on lbp dont like me and i dont kno why... and if you havnt noticed my rep is like -35 or something...lol. so then when i actually meet ppl on lbp they say, wow ur actually nice, i heard you were an @$$hole... i also get ppl telling me that negative rep is bad... I OBVIOUSLY KNOW THAT, im joking around when i say im the neg rep king on my sig!!! So i just want everyone to know that i have none of the negative traits you may have heard about...

Eesh. This can't be going anywhere good... The way to increase your rep is to generally be a nice guy around the forums. Throw in a compliment here and there, etc. It's easier to just let if flow and happen than to go out of your way to earn rep. The best advice I can offer is to write out your posts, and then reflect on how others might take it the wrong way before hitting the submit button. Also, I've noticed that spelling correctly and such really helps. It doesn't seem like a huge thing, but it gives the impression that you are giving some thought to what you say. ------ Please guys, let's not turn this into a grudge match. Let the past go - there's no sense getting stuck up on things that have happened prior...

Wow, this is getting tense. Well I know that even the most hating person doesn't like being hated on, so here's some tips. 1. Thank people once in a while. It shows you read and enjoyed their post. 2. Stop trying to make a negative come back. You can just say, "Sorry", or, "Okay, I guess", but never go around saying, like how you put it, "Grow up kid". 3. If you're going to correct someone, try saying it in a way not rude or offensive to the person. Like, "You misspelled LBPCentral by the way. Hope that helps.", and not, "You spelled LBPCentral wrong. Learn how to spell.". 4. Be nice and participate more. If people don't see your fun and active side, then they'll think you're just a loner who doesn't like to socialize much. 5. Make friends. This can be achieved by posting more in threads, visiting other members' profile more often, and even leaving a Visitors Message for people with Birthdays. I hope you can get a better reputation with this.

Astrosimi provided an example as to why you probably have negative rep, and you decided he was "holding a grudge". I think that's why your rep is so bad. You have almost no people skills, and you think that this forum (and the internet in general) is your playground to say whatever you want. This may be a fairly anonymous way to interact with others, but that doesn't mean you have to be an ******* to people when they say things you don't like (especially when you ask for it, like, I don't know, now, for example?). If you actually wanted to improve, you would have accepted the fact that you were rude and proceeded to apologize and mend your ways. Instead, you decided the best way to react is to insult the person who answered your question in the first place. That's why your rep is bad, and if you don't understand that, then you obviously deserve exactly the hand you've been dealt. @Astrosimi: Please stop the pointless bickering. You're doing nothing to help the situation. I'll leave this open for a bit just to gauge the situation, but if things continue in the direction they're heading, this thread will be locked very soon.
