My avatar seems unusually small for some reason. Whenever I try to make it larger, it resizes it to this small puny size. Can someone help? Thanks.

Try changing it into a PNG image rather than Jpeg. Just a suggestion.

I think you need one of the packages in the shop to get a bigger avatat. Not positive but I think that is the case.

100x100 pixels is the normal limit. Yours is 100x75 ish. Try making it into a square and you'll see a slight improvement.
