Climb is(will) be an extremely long, multi stage level, jam packed with hidden secrets, easter eggs, and tonnes of play time.

Climb, this is the term coined to a massive building erected off the coast of north america on a remote island. It is here you have traveled to scale the epic 100 room system for the ultimate reward, a place in sackperson history!

Equipped with your trusty activation gun and sharp wits, you and your sackperson must battle an epic series of tasks, each slightly harder than the last. From electric floors, hovering platforms, teleportals, and tonnes of other challenges, Climb is the level that just keeps going and going!

So, to combat this extremely long level (I'm estimating at least 2 hours of play time, yeah that's right, 2 hours) I have created a new system, one I myself have never seen used before. A save game function.

Every 10 floors you will be granted a "keycard" in the form of a sticker. Using this in the main lobby at the start of the level you can continue off from one of the 10 interval floors.

But don't worry, thats just the start, on top of the 100 floors, which start very easy and get very VERY hard, hidden throughout Climb is a set of 10 stickers for you to hunt down. Using these in the lobby at the set room will unlock the super hard round, a further set of floors that upon beating, will reward you with a gift. What is it? Well you'll just have to find out.

Not only that, but hidden as well throughout Climb will be a handful of excellent prizes, including an entire font set for you to use on your own levels. If anything I'd appreciate a bit of credit in your level. But don't worry, it'll take a bit of work if you want to get 100%!

Epic cut scenes, an awesome soundtrack that'll keep your toe tapping while you scale the Climb, hidden treasures, and enough levels to take multiple runs to get through, these are all just parts of Climbs amazing size.

Currently 11/100 main floors complete, Load Game Function installed. Place holder for Hidden Sticker 1 has been placed, but as the whole hidden sticker system and bonus round system haven't even been made, you can find the hidden bubble but it won't give you anything -.^

I'll upload some pics soon, until then feel free to tell me your thoughts on the game so far, and check back often for updates on the levels.

Don't worry, since the load game function has been added, you can in fact play to level 10 and come back later once levels 11~20 are done and pick right up where you left off, thus is the sheer awesomeness of Climb ^^

This sounds like my kind of thing. I'm hoping at least one of your floors will reach expert difficulty, which the chances of that are rare, but I'll be looking forward to it. ^_^ I like a challenge.

Also, the save system has been done many times. It is nothing new. Even one of my extreme platformers I'm working on uses one. And the lenght of your level doesn't sound too bad considering some extreme platformers can be 3 or 4 hour ordeals.

Anyways, I'll be looking to play the final version and tell you what I think.

Actually, when I have time I guess I could go ahead and play what's done for a sample.

I played your early version and it looked very good. I liked the idea of an interactive menu before you start the game and the option to load a previous game will prove very useful if there is going to be a hundred floors. I started a new game and the challenges on floor one were well done. A nice easy start. I got to floor two and had to end the game. I don't know if I did something wrong because your level description says 10/100 floors made. I'll definitely look forward to playing this when it's complete.2009-10-09 11:27:00

-For the rooms where you are chased by the electric wall, you should make it so the blocks come back if I die on that part.
I see the potential and I'll make sure to check back on it. I really like the idea of the continue system you made too. Good luck.

As for the whole floors issue, when I started making the level each individual room had its own floor, but the teleportals really hurt my thermometer, so instead I have one every 10 rooms/"floors". I'll have to go through and change floors to room and etc.

V2.2 Up and running now, added in epic new intro, i'm sure you'll enjoy it much more

Fixed a few issues, as for the moving electric wall, I will most likely have the objects respawn at higher floors but the first 10-15 are going to be pretty easy on purpose, give you a taste then it gets harder. By the time you hit the 90s... well ^.-
