Has anyone noticed anything weird with LBP and the store today? About an hour ago after getting home from work I tried to play LBP but it just kept freezing the PS3 and when I eventually got in it was awful. I had a few invites from 'ikbeneland' but every time I tried to join I just got the 'failed to connect' message so I switched it off altogether. I then went to the playstation store but when I looked for LBP stuff it had disappeared !! I searched the 'game add-ons' where the DLC is normally found but LBP wasn't there at all. I then tried searching 'A-Z of all games' and LBP was nowhere to be found on there either. What's going on? Any ideas anyone?

I had a look on the store when I got your message, found LBP but the only thing there was the demo Might just be the aftermath of last night.

PSN was completely broken, all you could do was sign in. No store, no betas, no nothing.

Oh great. Well it still is then because I can't get in the beta either. Every time I try it freezes the PS3. Everything's been weird since that last firmware update. They made a total mess of things with that.

Uncharted 2 beta works fine, haven't tried LBP today.

hmm thats weird i wondered why i got disconnected earlier after i play a community level imo i like the new firmware but there are still some flaws with it

Happy days its not just me then, i posted a thread about this in help wondering if it was only me or not. You can search little big planet and find the dlc that way but its not in game add ons for some reason only the demo.

They made a total mess of things with that. But it's not the firmware update's fault here. It's just PSN getting crazy lately. My guess is that there's been some maintenance or upgrade for PSN that actually went wrong. Don't forget the slim just came by and PS3 sales increased by 300% in September. The slim is selling like hot cakes and this means a huge bunch of new people using PSN in the same month. I suppose they will stabilise soon I suppose. I wouldn't worry. .
