Gravity Switch

I recently played a really fun level called "Odd Gravity" or something like that, where red platforms have high gravity, blue platforms have normal gravity, and green platforms have low gravity. I aced the level and got the platforms, and every time I go into create mode I play around with them. If Media Molecule were to make a gravity switch, however, it would be amazing. Just think: -Slow/high motion falling -Space levels would be published like mad (I really like decent space levels) -Levels that already have those "anti-gravity rooms" with the pink floaty material could be made so much more advanced, without the jetpack ~~~OH! ANOTHER GREAT IDEA!! What if in the water pack somebody found a glitch or something where you could swim when there was no water on the screen???!? THAT would be AMAZING! MM have already made it ( or at least thought of it) so its just a case of waiting for it to be bug fixed/ revived. I believe one reason they wanted it in the game was for 'hero' levels but I'd personally just want it so I wouldn't have to build a lift/stairs whenever I wanted a player to go dramatically higher | 2009-10-07 17:15:00 Author: Shermzor Posts: 1330 |
I would really like to build space levels without jetpacks or without playing around with peach floaty on objects so that they float and you can't grab them. Also, double or half gravity could be nice, just think of it I've also played odd gravity, too bad I haven't aced it. I would really like to know how those platforms work. I always saw gravity options, along with a few other choice options, being all the way on the right in the Tools Bag, with their own sliders. There would also be an object, identical to the GLT, that controls the same factors. | 2009-10-08 01:00:00 Author: BSprague Posts: 2325 |

I hope they release it sometime soon, maybe after the water pack? That would make LBP so much more popular, because I know how many people are coming back to it after the water pack. Anway, speaking of that Odd Gravity level, has anyone played the second one? It has these really weird yellow platforms where when you grab the bottom of them you 'teleport' above them, and when you let go you usually launch into the air a bit.
