Well I'm still interested on how it is done. Anyone know? | 2009-10-07 15:59:00 Author: Sunrise_Moon ![]() Posts: 469 |
Cheap version (which I use for my vids): Get a digi-cam and some sort of camera stand (tripod type works well), adjust the camera angle, start filming, play the level, stop filming, put the video on your pc and upload it. Professional version (which cog probably uses): Get a capture card (A device which "sucks in" the visual and audio signals of any wires (mostly composite) and forwards them to your PC via USB. Search ebay, google etc. for more infos), get a powerful PC, some video editing tool (windows movie maker is recommended for simple editing; adobe premiere pro for more options), capture your level, edit the video and upload it. On a quick note: If you still want to receive your video signal on your TV while collecting video material via capture card, you'll need 3 composite splitters (one for Audio R, one for Audio L and one for Video) and another composite cable (R-L-Video). Then, instead of directly connecting your PS3 to your PC via capture card, plug the 3 splitters in to split the cable up, and connect one set of composite plugs to your TV. Alternatively, you could use another cable (HDMI, component) to connect your PS3 to your TV. The advantage is that you can still get high resolution on your TV while capturing in SQ. Hope this helped. | 2009-10-07 17:14:00 Author: Treas ![]() Posts: 223 |
Yeah ask Cog or JKThree, I think there are a few other filmers around the place but I think most of them have become inactive on LBP | 2009-10-07 18:55:00 Author: olit123 ![]() Posts: 1341 |

Or you can go for the mobile phone camera held between your knees while you play. Not the best results ever, but it does work ![]() | 2009-10-07 19:04:00 Author: rtm223 ![]() Posts: 6497 |
