So which of the music in Music Pack 1 do you like the most?
Archive: 41 posts
I thought i'd try something a little fun. Even though it hasn't come out yet, but since we can hear some of it thanks to the video MM gave us, i think its okay to do this a little early. YouTube - Mm Music Pack 1 Personally I think it'll be unanimous on 1 of them (but i'm not going to say it) but I could be wrong. Can't wait to see what comes next! | 2009-10-05 19:39:00 Author: JKthree Posts: 1125 |
I'd say Tea by the Sea. | 2009-10-05 19:44:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Hard to say if you can only listen to snippets of each song and don't know what parts of it can be changed, but I would go with Tea by the sea or Wise Owls. Not a fan of blues or whatever the style in the first one is called. Heh, Tea by the Sea reminds me of the bar scene in Star Wars YouTube - Mos Eisley Cantina Scene from Star Wars | 2009-10-05 19:54:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
Well I like Wise Owl the most. The flute (I think it's a flute ) makes it sound awesome. | 2009-10-05 20:09:00 Author: olit123 Posts: 1341 |
I'd say: 1. Well Trained 2. Wise Owl 3. Tea By The Sea (It really annoys me for some reason) | 2009-10-05 20:10:00 Author: S-A-S--G-U-N-R Posts: 1606 |
I can see Wise Owl being used to great effect in some future classics. It has a really great atmospheric feel. | 2009-10-05 20:50:00 Author: Tig-W Posts: 106 |
Heh, Tea by the Sea reminds me of the bar scene in Star Wars YouTube - Mos Eisley Cantina Scene from Star Wars (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YSF5SfqF2o) Lol ... I started watching that just regularly until I noticed what was off about that clip. | 2009-10-05 20:53:00 Author: Jagrevi Posts: 1154 |
i like the third one they played | 2009-10-05 20:54:00 Author: deboerdave Posts: 384 |
I absolutely love the Quenas in Wise Owl...Has my vote. I like them all, but I love Wise Owl... | 2009-10-05 20:58:00 Author: KoRnDawwg Posts: 1424 |
Wise owl. I love the techno like part at the beggining and that flute is brilliant. I'm really excited about that song and the other 2 were also pretty good. | 2009-10-05 21:00:00 Author: persona3fan93 Posts: 155 |
Well, from the snippets, I'd have to say Wise Owl at the moment - can't wait to see what the mixing channels are on it! | 2009-10-05 21:36:00 Author: MrsSpookyBuz Posts: 1492 |
Because of Slash's blues based guitar style, i'm going with the first one. | 2009-10-05 21:56:00 Author: Leather-Monkey Posts: 2266 |
Probably Wise Owl or Tea By the sea... | 2009-10-05 21:59:00 Author: chezhead Posts: 1063 |
i guess wise owl is my favorite | 2009-10-05 22:01:00 Author: rseah Posts: 2701 |
Wise Owl, because its the only one I can see myself using. | 2009-10-05 22:36:00 Author: Nuclearfish Posts: 927 |
My Southern roots dig anything bluesy. My vote is for Well Trained. Number 1 | 2009-10-05 22:41:00 Author: thanatos989 Posts: 248 |
Wise Owl - really neat and unique, and gotta love that flute. | 2009-10-05 23:02:00 Author: hilightnotes Posts: 1230 |
Well, from the snippets, I'd have to say Wise Owl at the moment - can't wait to see what the mixing channels are on it! Oh wow I can't believe i didn't see that they are interactive! Now I'm REALLY excited about this. Maybe I could make a video showing the songs and the various mixing channels | 2009-10-06 00:47:00 Author: JKthree Posts: 1125 |
Wow, I didn't even know there was a music pack on the way! This is so incredibly cool. Wise Owl is my favorite of the batch, but the third one sounds very distinctly LBP. I can't wait to see what the unique channels sound like. I'm so glad they're finally releasing a bit more music. | 2009-10-06 03:09:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |
wise owl just sounds so nice, i can just see ancient adventures unfolding to this track kinda like a mix between some islands music and technoish beat first one sounds to... "real" for lbp levels last one is kinda nice...cant see an application for it though =/ | 2009-10-06 03:17:00 Author: Littlebigdude805 Posts: 1924 |
I like Wise Owl and the second part of Tea by the Sea. I'm a little disappointed there isn't some action/boss music in there. Maybe in music pack 2. | 2009-10-06 21:00:00 Author: Reef1978 Posts: 527 |
My speakers aren't working so I'll just have to be jealous and not hear it. The only consolation I get is that i know that scene from Star Wars! | 2009-10-07 20:13:00 Author: FlameAtNight Posts: 405 |
I choose Wise Owl because it's got a few styles thrown in there and is the smoothest and calmest of the three. It's gonna be my favorite by a mile. | 2009-10-08 16:22:00 Author: Xenifus Posts: 306 |
I like them all, but Wise Owl is my favorite. | 2009-10-09 15:33:00 Author: mrsupercomputer Posts: 1335 |
I like them all too, but MrSupercomputer is my favorite. | 2009-10-09 21:40:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |
Well trained for me, I got a level idea from it immediatly. The other two are cool as well though | 2009-10-09 21:41:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
I'm sticking to what I said before I heard the whole song: Wise Owl is great. . | 2009-10-09 21:52:00 Author: hilightnotes Posts: 1230 |
I vote Wise Owl. I think it's the song that will bring the most creativity. The 2 other songs are just resonnating as songs we already have. . | 2009-10-09 22:15:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
Yeah, I agree with hilight and Ranger - Wise Owl is 'different' and listening to the whole song confirms it for me. | 2009-10-09 22:23:00 Author: MrsSpookyBuz Posts: 1492 |
Whoops sorry for the double post. I don't know what I was thinking! Oh and isolating the voice from Well Trained is pretty neat. . | 2009-10-09 22:29:00 Author: hilightnotes Posts: 1230 |
Tea by the Sea is my favorite now. | 2009-10-09 23:05:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Hmm i liked Well-trained the best. We needed some jazzy mm blues . But I guess it really comes down to what kind of music you actually like best, but in my opinion the example for well-trained was the worst part of the song, lol | 2009-10-10 01:25:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
The three are good, but I voted Tea by the sea! Even though it sounds a little like some other LBP tunes, it's the catchiest for me! | 2009-10-10 01:35:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Well I've finally got around to listening to them. Well trained is alright, but I'm not that fussed. Tea by the sea is pure win, and wise owl is pretty cool as well. I think tea by the sea is my favourite, but wise owl seems to have "more" to it, I haven't got time to strip down the channels today, but I'm sure there are some hidden gems in there | 2009-10-10 15:53:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
It seems wierd to me that well trained sounds terrible unedited but If you single out parts of the music it could sound really good . Well Trained makes a great song unmatched by anny other for any jazzy bar or casino. Wise Owl seems like the best for any meadow and forest. Tea by the Sea seems like it could have a lot of uses, like any japan-themed level or ocean-themed level | 2009-10-10 16:00:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
I think Tea by the Sea owns all of life and future life...I can sing it all day. | 2009-10-11 16:57:00 Author: Night Angel Posts: 1214 |
I think Tea by the Sea owns all of life and future life...I can sing it all day. Whistle? Hum? | 2009-10-11 18:02:00 Author: Jagrevi Posts: 1154 |
Wise Owl is definitely my favorite, but probably because my style of creating wouldn't require the other two - although maybe it's time for me to branch out | 2009-10-11 18:46:00 Author: Powershifter Posts: 668 |
So, am I the only one who's thinking the new songs are all totally lame and feeling embarassed about paying good money for that trash? | 2009-10-12 22:23:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |
Wise Old Owl I'm disappointed with after hearing the full track, but the other two I can make use of. | 2009-10-12 23:47:00 Author: Jagrevi Posts: 1154 |
My vote it's for Tea by the sea. It's just too catchy, and it does greatly combine with the music theme from the savannah! | 2009-10-14 19:49:00 Author: Keldur Posts: 628 |
