The first (and only) level I have ever created. I remember it rather fondly and it serves as a great reminder of all my creative flaws and missteps, if naught else. By no means a great level - barely even tolerable - yet it was made during a time of blessed naivety. Thus far, the only people to play it have been predominantly friends - none of which have spent any great deal of time developing levels, thus were unable to offer and notable insight or feedback upon how it could have been improved and what I should take into account next time I design a level.

Anyway, I hope you receive a giggle or two if nothing else.

Maybe there are some people that have made amazing levels their first time out, but I was definitely not one of them. My first level had many great ideas, but I had no clue what I was doing and learned as I went. I had horrible parts mixed with great parts with everything being ridiculously difficult.

I commend you for posting your first creation here. I have relegated my first level as a locked prize in one of my levels as I don't want people to play it without playing one of my more refined levels.

Your level has everything wrong with any first level. The main thing is a focus. You had the goofy story but the gameplay was, like my original level, a crazy all out level of randomness.

Great first attempt and again kudos on seeking feedback on your first attempt!

Was the ship supposed to move or did I really have to jump through all of those glass "waves"? That part sucked...hehe.

Anyways, check out my "Glorious" level if you want to unlock my first monstrosity and check it out.

Otherwise, please provide feedback for "The Sweltering Mountain Evisceration (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=17240)".

Hi there deadmensboots!
I saw that you said that you could not find me on LBP, but if you still want to check out my level: The Isles of the Sky - I left a little comment on your level (in game so to speak) and you could press my name there.

Anyway I thought this was a good first level - as ElGuertoGigante mentioned, it has some good parts and some bad parts.
I really liked the characters, especially the "pirate" or whatever he was that had captured the mermaid.
One thing that kind of surprised me was that the ship was not moving? It felt like it was supposed to move... - because it was kind of wierd having to jump over the water like that.
Also - it might just be me, but I prefer when people do not use the "floor" (I have no idea what to call it, but the actuall bottom of the level)

But all in all, a good first level!

Hey, I played your level, it was good for a first attempt, you had some nice platforming, and characters. I like the ship, although running over the waves was a little tiresome. It was a little unpolished in places, but thats something you'll no doubt get better at from what I've seen here.

Thanks for sharing the level, I look forward to your next one.

Everyone seems to have fallen foul of the ship. It does move(I made the waves so cumbersome to encourage people to use it) but I foolishly only connected the rocket grip-switch to the sponge upon the left. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the feedback. I shall be sure to check out your levels later this evening.
