Ok, I have played some LBP levels. Some that were good with nice characters, and some lesser. But what really anoyed me were levels as life in school or anything like that, where you see cardboardbox on with a sticker on it, representing characters. Then 2 minutes later, you see them back, saying that you have to continue and he will follow you. This results back in a cardboard with a sticker further down the level. But what if Media Modecule could add a new tool for during Create mode, that there is a sort of Ghostly version which follows you, or you can create a path for him during create, and when a switch triggers, that he does something different on that certain moment. You could customize the ghostly character, to give the characters more variations. You know how awesome that can be?

Did I get this right? You want a tool to perform kind of a "motion capture" in create mode and use your recorded ghost in your level? While this could definitely add more depth to story-based levels, I think that there's a few points speaking against it. First of all, I imagine players could get quite confused seeing other "real" sackpeople on screen, as they might as well be fellow players. I think it would be quite a difficult task for Mm to create such a tool in a user-friendly, easy-to-understand way. If you don't want your ghost to just pop up out of nowhere and disappear all of a sudden, you'd need idle positions, switch-triggered movement, timelines... They would need to provide kind of a movie editing tool. Making this tool user-friendly and versatile at the same time would be near impossible. Remember the emitters? Their task is way simpler than your ghost tool, and their handling has been optimized to be as user-friendly as possible, but still I see lots of people being confused by the many many settings they provide.
