It's cool to make a sequel ... Hope it will not suffer by comparaison with the MM levels I'll give it a try to see how you manage to do this Edit Just played it, and I really enjoyed! Very nice level, in the respect of the original style, with some nice and well done ideas (stickering the crocodiles...) Nothing more to say! Nice job! :star::star::star::star: | 2009-10-05 12:46:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
I played the level and liked it. Great visuals, plenty of secret areas and some excellent point multipliers. The platforming and story were nicely done, and I especially liked the stampede you run across, nicely done. I hav'nt played the Savannah for ages, but did you use MM objects or create them yourself.? **** | 2009-10-05 13:26:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
Remove the extra legs on the zebras(the ones attached with sprung bolts) because they don't look very good visually imo. I'd add some custom enemies to add a bit more challenge. I also posted a picture in your level thingy in LBP on how to improve the gibbon king graphically. Loved it so far tho | 2009-10-05 17:05:00 Author: Unknown User |
thank you for the feedback everyone. @grantos yea the animals are MM objects. i thought there's no way i could re-create that so i used the MM ones. @paddy yea i see what you mean about the legs, i'll remove them and i'm not so good at enemies so i won't be adding custom ones to it. haven't noticed the pic you took, i'll take a look. | 2009-10-07 00:05:00 Author: Unknown User |

Nice. You did a nice job on creating a sequel to the Mm story levels. I must admit though that I prefer your canyons series. The gibbon king is a masterpiece though, looks really nice. One word on your canyons part III: Please, remit the mine cart if players die and respawn. We played it, hopped in the minecart, got lifted by the elevator thingy, speeded up and... crashed against a wall of polystyrene and fell down. The mine cart did not respawn as supposed, leaving us unable to progress. | 2009-10-07 22:29:00 Author: Treas Posts: 223 |
@Bombw87 it was a pleasure to play your pirate levels. they're the best pirate levels i've played. @Treas yea i prefer my canyons series as well, that's why i wont be making a trilogy of the savannah levels. haven't noticed the bug you are talking about on the canyons. thanks for telling me, i'll look into it. | 2009-10-09 21:31:00 Author: Unknown User |
