I would like to recommend another level by Japanese creator JUNINHO8 (whose level September Steps was recommended in this thread: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=15069. ) This new level is in a very different style - more a visual and auditory feast than a platforming experience. The title is in Japanese but just search for the creator?s name and then look for the level with the single red rose on a black background as an icon. It has amazing visuals and custom piano music throughout. I can?t read the Japanese title or description so no clues there. The only thread running through the level seems to be a bunch of red roses which appears from time to time and hints at some kind of theme or story line...all very intriguing! The level starts with a short hallucinatory platforming section with glitched visual/lighting effects where you jump up some small platforms to land on numerals making up the sum 1 + 1 = 3, which about sums up (!) what you are feeling at this point! After this you enter the more normal reality of a woodland scene at dusk. The design of the wood and ponds is just gorgeous. You have to see it to appreciate it properly. From the wood you move into an artist?s studio where a huge figure of an artist is painting a vase with red roses. The artist seems to be an Impressionist painter which made me realise that the wood and ponds were reminiscent of paintings by Monet. I think the level may in part be about how the Impressionists (or perhaps artists in general) looked at the world and saw it differently, in fresh and original way. Of course, I am probably completely wrong but in the end what the level is all about doesn?t matter as it just looks and sounds so lovely!

JUNINHO8 is a great creator who deserves more attention. I was also clueless as to what the level is about but it is gorgeous.
