Haven't seen a thread about this yet surprisingly. He's got a new one out already, (three in one month, Wex you've some competition!). As polished as expected, its another class level with some wonderful touches including a latter section I thought was absolute magic. Go play! | 2009-10-03 01:16:00 Author: julesyjules Posts: 1156 |
Agreed. This was a very well put together piece. | 2009-10-03 05:01:00 Author: Jagrevi Posts: 1154 |
Got to go to work but I shall be straight on this when I get back! As for his prolificness I remember him saying somewhere that he's had Jailbird on his moon pretty much finished for ages, so that could be why he's got them out so fast Looking forward to playing it! | 2009-10-03 11:16:00 Author: jackofcourse Posts: 1494 |
Yes, I played this recently, and it's another cracker. It was either a very long level, or I took a long time to play it! I loved it - and the end chase sequence is sheer class. | 2009-10-03 12:06:00 Author: MrsSpookyBuz Posts: 1492 |
Yay another level! I'll go to play this asap and leave feedback! Thanks for posting | 2009-10-03 12:09:00 Author: iGotFancyPants Posts: 1355 |
I hit this one earlier today, and it was very impressive. A lot of fun! I did this one with my 7 yr old, so it was a bit trickier. | 2009-10-04 00:37:00 Author: thanatos989 Posts: 248 |
I love this level, I actually think it is his best. The end scene was very exciting. | 2009-10-04 18:53:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |
This was an amazing level, this guy just throws one gem after the other onto us. | 2009-10-04 19:28:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
I stumbled upon this while on my once weekly browsing of the Cool Pages, and I'm glad I did. It's a brilliant level, and it's nearly flawless. I enjoyed every second of it, which was great because it was a fairly long level. | 2009-10-04 19:44:00 Author: BSprague Posts: 2325 |
A very cool level, definitely deserves to be on page one, like the rest of his levels. I really like the theme of this level, but I think it could do with a little more story. The Tale of the Magnificent Ruby still remains my favourite level done by him. | 2009-10-04 19:46:00 Author: olit123 Posts: 1341 |
The premise of this level reminds me of the Tool song "Reflections". Anyway, I was at the end part and then I died. Then I was stuck in the cave forever, wallowing in self-pity. | 2009-10-04 20:02:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |
I died at the end and got stuck in the despair cave as well. I still loved the level and I will probably play it again to see if I can get a better ending! | 2009-10-05 05:57:00 Author: zomginterweb Posts: 24 |
I've played this a few times with different groups and I've managed to break it twice. I till love it though. | 2009-10-05 06:20:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
I've played this a few times with different groups and I've managed to break it twice. I till love it though. Hi! Where did it break? | 2009-10-05 07:55:00 Author: geosautus Posts: 4 |
In the chase I managed to have the checkpoint that respawns you in the little scoreboard area break so it spawned me back on the lift where you avoid the gas at one point and then the second time it spawned me on the checkpoint before the chase part begins. I managed to make it to where the huge wall blocks the way so you can't go any further. The othert thing is in multplayer I managed to spawn below the small scoreboard (I think the last activated checkpoint was there) so the entire party popped then we ended up outside the level running around on dark matter. I think the problem is in the checkpoint system or materials smashing or not smashing as the case may be - previously activated checkpoints. Still love the level though. Nice sense of humor in places and it's gorgeous | 2009-10-05 08:02:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
When did this happen? If it was a couple of days ago then it's hopefully fixed already. If it was yesterday then my fix didn't work at all Thanks! | 2009-10-05 09:07:00 Author: geosautus Posts: 4 |

Yup, played this the other day.... excellent stuff. At the final chase I was one jump away from making it..... slipped and fell into the BAD ENDING. Up there with my favorite 3 levels with alternate bad endings if you fail the final challenge.... thus forcing you to play the entire thing again to see what REALLY happens. This one, Wexfordian's "The Good, the bad, and the Sackboy", and "Splat Invaders III" .... Is this the new "in thing".... making people play your entire level again based on slipping up at the end? Anyway, incredible level with a lot of diverse gameplay. I hope it gets a million plays. | 2009-10-05 18:48:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |

First one happened on Friday night and the second time was Saturday late at night. You probably have it fixed then | 2009-10-05 20:01:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
This really is a superb level, enjoyable in every way | 2009-10-05 21:09:00 Author: KoRnDawwg Posts: 1424 |
Played it the other day, it was pretty good... Was it his best? No but I did quite enjoy it, I always love playing these Temple type of levels. I played it twice (haven't finished it yet) and don't like the fact that you only get a few balloons and need to grab on to one of them or will have to restart the level. I quit the level, I had no patience to redo ALL that I had previously done, I'll go back to it some other day... On a side note, I haven't really been impressed by geosautus' last two levels, I use to regard him as one of the best creators, but it seems like he has lost his touch. You could play his old levels hundreds of times and never get bored... They had that special "touch"... They had a heart, you could tell that alot of love went into those levels. His newer levels are almost the opposite, I miss the old geosautus!!! ='( | 2009-10-06 04:34:00 Author: TheFirstAvenger Posts: 787 |

I quit the level, I had no patience to redo ALL that I had previously done, I'll go back to it some other day... It continues to spawn new balloons endlessly, you just need to wait for a second or two. (They are triggered by a proximity sensor so just stay put.) | 2009-10-06 06:56:00 Author: geosautus Posts: 4 |
Of note, Julesyjules, Matt_82, and I played this last night and had a BLAST - and that was the third time I played it. I think Matt_82 popped up a text bubble "Best looking level ever". So, Endless_Echo - I completely don't understand where you're coming from on this one. There are tons of great hidden areas - including a great hidden area you can float through during the balloon rise for additional point bubbles... and one of the most exciting final segments I've played. Having only a small set of balloons rise without more emitting would have been a TOTALLY amature thing to do. Maybe explore the level a bit more, uncover some more of the depth, and experience the second half of the level.... | 2009-10-06 13:57:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
Ok, I'll give it a try the next time I am on, thanks! | 2009-10-06 15:00:00 Author: TheFirstAvenger Posts: 787 |
Uhhh.... WOW. (`).(`) That was a bloody masterpiece... the feel of the level was fairly authentic! The one thing that bothered me quite a lot was the part where you adjust the platforms to climb up to the next checkpoint. The grabby thing that you have to move to the right had a sound on it set to 'On Impact'. This caused it to go off many, many, many times, and most times I thought were completely unnecessary. This seemed extremely unprofessional to me, but thats just an opinion of a little itty-bitty thing so dont mind it. Apart from that, this level was top notch. The definition of a '5 Star level'. Great work! Hearted of course! | 2009-10-07 01:17:00 Author: iGotFancyPants Posts: 1355 |
Oh, me and my brother broke the level by killing ourselves with the fire thing near the "Bad" ending. | 2009-10-07 03:22:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |
You lost your touch? You need a montaaaaaaaaage. | 2009-10-07 09:24:00 Author: BasketSnake Posts: 2391 |
Doooh, I got the bad ending! Ending up in the pit. Booo! Incredibly well-made. Geosautus clearly keeping it up, proving he's in a league of his own. Just played his Jailbirds level too, and really enjoyed that one too, a great race-to-the-finish stage with some really well-made "small rooms". | 2009-10-09 05:47:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |
This is such an awesome level But what else would you expect from who I beleive to be the best creator on LBP - we love you Geo! | 2009-10-09 21:48:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |

See if more people made levels like this I would actually play more community levels. Stunning work there, geosautus. Exactly the sort of level I enjoy and strive to create myself. Well done! | 2009-11-01 22:53:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
