FINAL Release Date Info Thread (EVER!)

| Ok, No more date changes now. Since LittleBigPlanet has gone gold (110% done) they've posted Official release dates for ALL regions on the LittleBigPlanet News Site (http://littlebigplanet.us.playstation.com/). Sony Computer Entertainment and Media Molecule are delighted to announce that exclusive PLAYSTATION?3 title LittleBigPlanet? has gone gold! The full global release schedule: October 21st North America & Latin America October 22nd Europe, Australia & New Zealand October 24th UK & Ireland (The Japanese release date is currently targeting the week commencing 27th October) But that's not all they've also announced the DLC that will be available at launch. Which includes a "spaceman costume" and a "Sackboy T-shirt" To start with, there will be a free Spaceman costume for Sackboy, perfect for preparing to launch! There will also be a rare ?Week One? Sackboy t-shirt to prove that you were there at the start. Both items will be available for a limited time only. | The fact that it's releasing in the rest of Europe before the UK & Ireland makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I wish someone would explain these situations sometimes... but they never do. You stole the words right out my mouth. If any region should get it first it should be the UK. Oh yeah I just realised, maybe what has happened is they are manufacturing it in the USA because it's cheaper over there and then they will sell it over there while shipping it over here to the UK but it will reach Europe first because it's a bigger place and people can come from further to buy it. | It's probably something to do with when people buy games in different countries. Maybe in the US people are more inclined to buy games during the week while in UK people are more inclined to buy them on a Friday after work/school sorta thing. Still doesn't explain why Europe is before UK & Ireland though. It doesn't really effect me overall as I probably won't be able to play the game until a week later... I'll put it in to download the spacesuit and other costume but then I'll have to leave it. | The thing is games come out on a friday in the UK, so thats why we get it 'late'. But, i don't see why we can't have it the friday before, so we get it before EVERYONE!
