The Co-Op demo is up on the playstation store, and it's REALLY really fun. It doesn't take place in the snow anymore. Now it's a jungle, and it's incredibly fun. Really, go try it. NOW! I know people have given Capcom a lot of crap with RE5's new direction, but I like it. It felt more arcadey, and more "just for fun" than most games these days. It was especially fun to go back and beat your scores when you have all the overpowered weapons with infinite ammo. This seems a step farther in that direction, and I really like it. From the beginning it feels a lot more like an arcade game than anything else. (Oh, and me and my co-op buddies laughed our apples off when the giant monster pooped me out)

Yea, this demo is fantastic! I love the gameplay! And I'm the type of person that hates Shooting games. But this may be the first one I ever purchase. At first my internet wasn't working, so I played the SP mode. I had a lot of fun. When I got to the last stage, I saw the 3 person mech and thought,"Holy crap! I need to find a way to get online now!" So when I finally got online and played with others, it was a blast! I'm still having fun playing this demo online. I definitely think everybody should give it a try. Add me if you want to play it! Also for LBP! I just got working internet and my connection is great right now!

Yeah I have the demo as well. That Category G Akrid is a fun fight. I'm down to just pounding away with the VS and not bothering getting swallowed to beat him now. I love the beautiful jungle levels. I can't wait to try the desert area out. It's quite an improvement over the first one and that too was an amazing game for it's time. I'm always up for a round if anyone needs an extra gun/ VS pilot, just add me.

I'm down to just pounding away with the VS and not bothering getting swallowed to beat him now. You can get swallowed!?!? I'm gotta try that out! I know this is gonna sound dumb, but does anybody know how to run? I know it has somthing to do with the left analog stick since that's what it says to use, but I cant figure it out.

Took me awhile to figure out sprinting as well. Just hold the Circle Button. As for the swallowed part, it's the fastest way to deal damage to him. Drive the big spike down, get eaten, and drive it back up. Becareful though, the category G has spawn pods in it's body so those small 3-legged Akrid will attack you in there. Also the patches where the acid steams up will burn health, so get in, do your damage, and get out fast. Unfortunately.... you can't exit through the front door....:eek:
