To get my new level off to a kick start, i'm offering some EXP rewards to those skilled enough to conquer it, and best the rest. This is a score challenge, and i will be rewarding Exp values to the top 3 on the scoreboards on October 7th. Entries close at 12 AM midnight PST on the 7th. First Place recieves 600 Exp. Second Place recieves 400 Exp. Third Place recieves 200 Exp. Anyone may enter, i'd prefer you mentioned it in this thread though, as that will make it easier for me to keep track of who's on first Heres a link to the F4F thread if anyone wishes to earn some F4F on their way to a high score: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=p=300574#post300574 Here are a few tips for the level, and happy score hunting! -Don't go for the high score on the first go, use it to figure out how to do each section (particularly the puzzle one which can take a long time on the first shot) and get all the achievement stickers (there are 6 stickers including the LBPC one from ConfusedCartmans level) -Be cautious, and time things well. It may be a timed thing, but dying will set you back a bit more than just waiting a bit longer for timings sake. -Time your race gate starts well on the sneak section. Let the spotlight come to you so you can follow it through instead of having to double back if it comes at you. -On the jump section, momentum is your friend. Several longer jumps are possible if you have a good speed worked up, less jumps will save you time. -On the boss section, follow the caterpillar. Always having ammo will make it a lot easier. -On the sticker section, there is actually a much shorter (time wise) way to get through the gates. It will however require very fast and precise movement. -On the intro, use the achievement stickers, collect the point bubbles, then Pop yourself. Sticker the location from outside the door then pop yourself again. This was an intentional way to avoid death, and will boost your score significantly in the beginning.

This is a really fun contest. I'm in 5th place now and the score by s3xNstilettos looks really good. I have played all the parts and now I'm going to strategize with those tips and see if I can do better.

Actually my score isn't that good because I died 3 times on boss, 1 in dark spotlight section (which I usually ace), 1 in jump ice section (which I usually ace), and 1 in VR jetpack maze. It was a bad run. I need to start practicing and playing it more than the few times I've played it since release if I'm going to get a solid score, otherwise someone will be beating my score very soon. At the same time I'm doing that Burnvictim and I are competing in the locked version of level where his true score is at. But it's all fun.

Yeah! 4th place on the scoreboard. I think I may be at an advantage, but... I'll probably give it another go and try to best my score.

I'm not sure you're at any advantage. Other people have tested the level as well. One thing that makes this a good challenge is you can practice any area you want

I've done two full playthroughs and never went back after playing a couple times, but I better go and do my 400+ k run today before midnight.

I have improved on my score twice and now I'm in second place. I missed using the stickers at the start to get the bubbles there, so I was close to getting the top spot. Let's see what happens in the few hours left.

YAY! WOOT! ^_^ Never did get around to playing it last night. I entered level to play and then a message popped up saying one of my locked levels got a play, so I had to abort lol to investigate. Turns out 2 of them had plays and one got 5 stars, which none of this is suppose to be happening. So yeah, I am lucky my score wasn't beaten. Had me worried. Thank you for the exp Burnvictim, and I enjoyed the level and contest much. ^_^ Don't you get a PM reminder when you are given exp? I haven't heard anything yet is why I was wondering. Well I guess it's different when an admin increases your exp. I don't know how much I had before the 600 since it's been a while since I checked, so I'm not sure if I got increase or not, lol.
