This was an idea that was tossed to the wayside after they realized the potential legal issues that could arise from it. There's no current plans to implement anything of the sort.

if you scroll to the bottom of the article theres another post on that same site called "Media Molecule Miffed By David Reeves ?Itunes Meets Ebay? LBP Comment" regarding the same issue. But CC hit the nail on the head sure it'd be a cool idea but legal issues galore

It really is an old subject that has been put to sleep a LONG while ago. Its was utopia from the start, they realised this was and then now it will never happen. Not even a deep to bring this back from the grave actually. .
