The Escapist is a game that involves you being trapped in a location, and the key to escaping is solving puzzles, trivia, knowledge-based puzzles.

Ironically, I got the idea when i was trapped in a level I was playing with me and my friends. We we're all just sitting there, ****** that we couldn't finish the level, and then it just hit me. What if there was a game based on being trapped, but there was a way to get out? In order to get out, you needed to solve a puzzle or something of the sort.

So I got to work. Most of the levels(the levels in the level) we're pre-planned. I had drawn up a few sketches in my class(I'm kinda famous in my school for my levels, but most people think i'm just a nerdy geek)

I thought the concept was original so I decided to stick with that. I tried my best to be as original as possible with the puzzles. Although I did use a few concept from other levels, but I gave my own little twist to it.

Anyway, I hope you all play and enjoy the hard work put into the level. Also, check out the logic I used.

Impressive eh? Also, all the picture were taken in create mode so sorry about all the wires.

I'm going to go on and play this now, it looks fantastic! I didn't want to look at the logic and pictures out of the fear I would spend the time and try to figure out all of the wires, emitters, and inevitably puzzles. 2009-09-29 23:20:00

Funnily enough, I played this earlier. I had a real blast, both on my own and with a friend.

There are some great ideas contained within the level, and there was good incentive to carry on and complete it.

I could tell you'd put a lot of thought in as well. The idea that you could use a sticker to skip the first 10 areas is a good one, though I reckon that this level has got good replay value anyway.

Well done, I enjoyed it very much.

I rated 4*, hearted, and tagged with 'Fun'. Thank you.

This was a really fun level. I liked a lot of the puzzles (though I just pushed random buttons on Level 15).
Also, on the cannon one, the gas never disappeared and I used a "cannonball" to jump over. I'm not sure if this was intensional or not. It took a while to complete, which I liked. I gave it five stars and a heart for it's length and originality.

I also noticed this was quite a popular level, congratulations on the 1,000+ plays and 100+ hearts.

I loved the variety and fun nature of this level. It was fun testing it with you. I rated 5 stars and hearted. We need more levels like this on the cool pages. Its really been getting bad at the moment with all the bomb survivals omg lame mode and levels that you die straight away resulting in lots of restarts.2009-09-30 00:17:00

LOL true. But to be honest I can't really say i blame them for making those levels. Its like a guaranteed 10000 plays lol! Ironically, your pong level and phenominal factory are actually fun and unique compare to the majority. I thought you were nuts for adding another surivival challenge into the pile lol. But i see now that you were setting an example of how it should be done. Thanks for the 5 and the heart btw.
