YouTube - LittleBigPlanet Watchmen Costume Kit

This Thursday, the Watchmen will come to save LittleBigPlanet from hoodwinks, in a new costume kit that allows you to assume the identities of four key characters from the acclaimed graphic novel, and its recent movie adaptation. The costume kit will also come bundled with some Watchmen themed stickers (and the costumes will be available individually too).

So, who does watch the Watchmen then? Hmm, Ambiguous. But I have a more important question:

How many Watchmen would a Watchman watch if a Watchman could watch Watchmen?

Answers on a postcard please!

Hahaha, cute and some interesting costume pieces in there.
Mr. Manhattan is sadly not included as a glowing blue skin but I can understand that.

Make the Rorschach costume animated, and DEFINITELY add a Dr. Manhattan costume (+underwear, of course), and it'll be awesome.2009-09-28 11:16:00

loved the movie and the comic series and im GLAD DC is getting in on the LBP action with watchmen

and im glad they didnt wast the 4th spot on dr.Manhattan...since you can make him really easy and it requires no skill....although i fail to see why laurie was labeled as "key" when she did not do much....would have made more sense if the comedian was in laurie's place since most of the movie revolved around his death

Well, they're probably more going for the comic book than the movie. Do comics have an age rating? In any case, as long as the DLC is tasteful there shouldn't be a problem with what the DLC is based on IMO.

Also, wasn't LBP rated E for Everyone?

They have to include Dr. Manhattan. Remember with Ghostbusters pack they didn't reveal all of them at once..... I'm going to be optimistic and say it will have it..... I could be wrong but that's my hope. 2009-09-28 20:20:00

Well I guess I won't be needing this old costume anymore.

http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=256&pictureid=2231

Finally though... a fedora! I may pick this one up for some of the great pieces to use to create other costumes. Night Owl's gloves and cowl can be put to good use, and Ozymandias' chest/arms and mask are even better for kit bashing your own costumes. Let's just hope they don't give this one away for free in another couple of months too.

To everyone hoping Rorschach's mask is animated.... I highly doubt it.

The game is for everyone. The film is for adults. Plenty of adults play the games and will be interested in the costumes. infamous is rated 16+ or something. no one complained when that got a DLC pack for LBP. Someone tell me the difference

And s3xNstilettos is most certainly right

Oh and Dr Manhattan is rogue trooper skin, pants stickered black, neon eyes and a little stickered circle on the forehead. It's not really worth a costume TBH.

Rorsack for the win

Rorshach's hat and trenchoat is the costume-winner for me. I wish they had replaced Veidt or Laurie with The Comedian though. If there's one thing LBP needs more of, it's rape scenes! Wait, what??

Actually, a lot of those background stickers are great, I can definitely see myself using them quite a bit - Mainly the graffiti, posters, and signs. I'm all about the urban environments in LBP, so I'm going to have to pick this up.

I will get Rorshach because of the fedora. Now my Indiana Jones costume won't look like a cowboy.
Also, if you want to animate his face couldn't you just change his emotion now and then?

Awesome costumes! I really really want to buy them, but I still don't have MGS pack  , so I feel like if I should buy anything it should be that...

I loved the movie and graphic novel though! It is a shame they didn't include they Comedian, but I suppose the only other two they could have gotten rid of were Laurie and Veidt. But they need a sackgirl in the pack, and I mean, Veidt IS pretty important.

Hate to be the one to burst everyone's bubble here.
However Spaff has said on the LittleBigWorkshop forum that Rorschach's fedora and mask are connected as a single headpiece.

http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/lbp/board/message?board.id=pod&message.id=98202#M98202

Ah, Annoyingly the face and hat are one item, however, you can sticker it, and you can wear facial hair etc over it. You can't have it and eyes though.

So unfortunately you're not going to be able to wear just the fedora by itself.

Generally though, the rest of the costume pieces are seperated and Spaff has also said that this is going to be the case with most future costume packs.

http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/lbp/board/message?board.id=pod&message.id=98195#M98195

oh by the way, you'll be pleased to know that this set of costumes is the first set for a while where most of those pieces are seperate costume items, wherever possible.... From now on costume items should be a bit more seperated.

.................................................. wow..................just....wow...........they finally release a pack with most of the pieces being seperate.....BUT THE ONE MOST IMPORTANT ONE THAT NEEDS TO BE SEPERATED ISN'T?!?!!?!? WHAT THE FLYING **** Mm?!?! seriously i demand an explanation for this....i mean i can understand rorshach's face not being animated (you aren't miracle workers i know) but the one costume piece i want being the fedora and now my detective has to suffer facial surgery?!?!

:'( i think i'm going to go cry or something...just when i had hope for Mm they lost me again....hopefully if i get water beta itll help me forget about this...but even then....i just dont know

EDIT: solution...make rorshach's mask a skin...there for the black eyes would have blended into his skin makin the mask look more real...and as for the mouth....well you have the animation of the mask right there....and if the eyes would have been an issue then rorschach's costume could have included special eyes that could blen into the mask or just remove the eyes somehow.... ugh im not happy

Aww... Stupid Mask being attached to hat! That was really all I wanted in this pack, well that and the trenchcoat, Maybe I wont buy it now, I don't know, seems an awful lot of money to fork out for one costume piece, I know I could get the Rorschach costume seperately but I kind of want the stickers, maybe Mm could release the hat seperate aswell, doubt it but it would be good.2009-09-30 12:10:00

Wow! Just... WOW!! We've been asking for costume pieces to be more separated for how long now? Throwing the ball to Mm constantly in hopes they might catch it someday.... http://metalmonstermarketing.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/fail.jpg

To make the Rorschach costume and NOT make the fedora separate is simply a lack of intelligence on Mm's part. Really dumb guys... REALLY dumb!

That's why I wish they would give us the option to remove Sackboy's eyes completely. You've already mentioned how it would benefit this particular costume above, however there's also a number of other custom costumes where it would be helpful to remove the eyes completely.

Particularly if you enjoy making your own custom costumes and therefore create your own face and eyes stickers to go on your custom costume creations.

We stand corrected... good eye. I guess fedora is just the more commonly known hat so folks think the two are the same.

Fedora... trilby... it still sucks that it's not separate from the mask. Perhaps we should all email Mm and tell them we need a fedo... I mean trilby costume piece.
