A neighbor was giving away kittens a couple of days ago, and we decided to get one to keep my other cat company during the day while we're at work/school/etc. She's 6 weeks old and her name is Chloe. I may post some new pics of her for comparison's sake once she grows up a bit more.

OMG - Adorable!! Kittens are amazing. Yeah, I know, seriously. She's still fairly awkward because she's so young and small, but within the next 6 months or so I think she'll really come into her own.

Is she still in that crazy 'you moved your foot now I'm gonna eat it' mood? Yeah. When she moves around on the bed, she sees the residual movement and shadows and attacks them. The funniest part is, she's really awkward still, so she'll trip over herself and end up on her back with no idea how it happened.

Good times ey? I remember those days, very hard to actually pet the thing as she just started biting the heck out of my hand. I could actually keep my hand mid-air for minutes and walk around the house with my kitten hanging on it, biting away.

ConfusedCartman, that kitty is adorable. She looks JUST like my kitty Otis when he was a kitten! I just got a new cat, too... and he likes to bite everything. he tried to send one of my friends a message on the psn yesterday because he was rolling around on the keyboard and controller. I love cats! ^_^

OMG that cat is really cute! How do you pronouce Chloe? Umm... Kloh-wee, I think is how you would pronounce it. Very cute, CC. I'm pleased that the kitten has a good home. I've literally just come back from the vets, where sadly I had to have my rabbit put to sleep. She'd had a good, long life, but I'll miss her dreadfully. Good to see new life, though.

How's Chloe getting along with your older cat so far? My older cat has always been rather slow and calm, so she hasn't really changed much. She's not fat or anything, her demeanor is just very..."mature". So yeah, she's been fine with this cat - she'll actually clean it on some occasions.

By the way, how long did/will it take to litter train her? Or was she already? She was not litter trained, but she got the idea almost immediately. Now she won't go unless she's in a litterbox, so I'd say she's well-trained.
