Weird Glitch Related to Un-Glue Glitch

Archive: 4 posts

Yesterday, while working on Project Dig, (still not telling ) I got the unglue glitch. I glued something down on one half of my level. There was a pause, and then I heard the delete sound.

I quickly flew over to see what had been deleted. Turns out a massive tower (clues!) had fallen over and deleted a very important part of my level. I set out adding dark matter and fixing everything.
When I had finished I noticed that some winches in the tower (too many clues!) had come off, but the thing they had been attached to had not been deleted or unglued or anything. I tried re-attaching the winches but it doesn't work. So I had to delete them all and make the winches all over again.

Is this normal? And if yes, how could I fix it?

I have experienced this same phenomenon - following the snap noise, connectors (winches in particular) were no longer attached and could not be re-attached.

I couldn't say if this is normal, and I have no solution other than what you already did - replace them.

K thanks, it is a weird glitch. I hope MM patches this, it is even more annoying than H4H!
(If that is possible!)

This has happened to me many times, most of the time making me restart my levels from scratch. I try using dark matter to hold most things in place, but for some reason, objects begin to wrap around the dark matter and they delete themselves, I rewind to undo that, then hold it down with more dark matter. When everything is still, my level has shifted, the layer that wrapped around, is either slightly lower, or higher than the other layers... just wondering if this happens to yoo?2009-11-24 06:22:00
