Survival-o-Maniac Treas on board!

Archive: 14 posts

Hi sackfolks!

Well, let me introduce myself. I'm Treas, passionate Survival Challenge-creator. Some may know me as "Noshire", my second nickname. As for my LBP avatar, I use two different costumes, one being a greenish sackboy with a leaf on his head, the other one being a purple devil with a set of 4 bat wings. I'll add pictures later on.

I've got normal platforming levels (and pages full of concepts as well), but my strength lies in combining advanced logics, original concepts and point bubbles to create awesome survivals.

Two of my SCs have already been posted in the recommendations thread, one by Avatar_of_Chaos, the other one by jackofcourse:

https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=7653

I bought my PS3 only for LBP (got a Wii before), participated in all LBP Betas to date and developped a strong affection towards creating SCs. I acted as a moderator for both the Wii- and NDS-subforums on the german gaming community forumla.de and started a new project on that board: an LBP-subforum. As for now, I'm head of a small, but strong german LBP-community.

If anyone needs help regarding logic gates, emitters (and how to trick them to save up tons of thermo space) or survival challenges, just ask me. I'm always glad to provide useful tips.

Well, I'm already an active member on lbworkshop and the official community.eu.playstation-boards (as well as in my own lbp-forum, of course), but multiple PSN-friends wanted me to join lbpcentral. And, seeing that there are some nice projects going on here, I decided to register here.

What else is there to say? Not much, I guess. I won't talk about my levels here, gonna open up a level promotion thread soon enough. Nice to see that I already know some of you folks from other boards, and of course I hope meeting some new nice clothy friends here

Thanks for all the fish! Erm, greetings!

Yeah, I'm quite an LBP veteran. I nearly got a heart attack during the pre-launch beta-code giveaway (I tried to access the betacode site for 2 hours... And finally succeeded!) and was so glad when I finally got my code.

Then, I counted down the remaining days till the release of LBP. I live in Switzerland and was quite shocked when I heard that the release would be delayed by a whole month because of that Toumani song. I decided to import a US version of the game. Cost me about twice of the normal retail price, but it was well worth it.

Got MmPicked 2 times since release (1 regular pick, one survival challenge-edition pick). I just love reading positive comments about my levels, seeing that people are enjoying them. It's just satisfying when you see that someone has a fun time playing what you have created.

As for my future plans, I'm going to start my formation in game design next year. I really want to help spreading the idea of creative gaming, and the best way to achieve this is by working on creative games!
