Points2Shop - free amazon stuff (no scam, I are seriose)

Archive: 27 posts

Now, I know at first that this'll seem like a scam, and me saying that it's a scam'll see like a scam, and THAT'll seem like a scam...but it's actually real. It's one of those fill-in-surveys-earn-money things, but it's really simple and easy. It filters out all the surveys that provide you with points, and users rate them on how fast they are, and how often they work, and how many points you get for them.

You get 250 points for signing up, and you can earn points by filling in a survey (c. 60 points), playing games (you enter tournaments with points and earn depending on whether you win), winning the "Lottery", which you get free tickets for by commenting on different surveys/offers with whether they work/speed etc., referring others, competing in teams, and other ways too.

I think the going rate is 1 point = 1 cent, so I currently have $3.50 after no time at all. The thing about this site is it allows you to buy anything that is on amazon.com - apparently, most people have enough to buy a game or two after only a couple of weeks. Of course, you can even save up for something like an iTouch if you wish. Or get books. Or gadgets.

Here's a quote off their website:

"Points2shop works with different advertisers. They give points2shop their banners, and their links. Points2shop then has members who are interested in that offer that uses the offer. When that offer is used, points2shop gets paid for sending the customer to that website. When points2shop gets paid, we pay a big portion of that back to the member who completed the offer.

This makes for a happy relationship between everyone. The advertiser receives the members that they want, points2shop receives the funds to keep points2shop up and running, and then gives a portion of that money to the member.

Points2shop isn't a site that you get 'free' things from. Points2shop is a site that you earn things from. You are spending your time on the site, and receiving a gift in return."

So, it's fairly simple to sign up - all you have to do is click this link, and sign up in seconds:

I signed up, it sounds interesting enough and I already use Swagbucks and Lockerz, so why not?

If you don't have a Lockerz account, send me a PM and I'll send you an invite. It's like this website, and you can get prizes very fast.

I think the going rate is 1 point = 1 cent, so I currently have $3.50 after no time at all.

On lockerz a $60 Dollar game is worth 100 PTZ, which I currently have (actually 102 to be exact) in little over a week.

So you can say I have the equivalency of over $60.

I think I'll stick with my site.

Lockerz doesn't work for me. 1/2 the pages don't load, and it doesn't show me any way of earning ptz. Each to their own, I suppose.

Most offers on there seem multi-country, though some say [us] or [uk] on.

No more than I usually get on my account You can use a temp. email like www.guerillamail.org I think, though it may not work on some offers, if you don't want a single email

Or make a spam email address like I did. lol at the fake email I used to sign up: thefakeemail@guerillamail.org

Hm, signing up with a fake email might be a problem. The emails come from the offer providers, to whom you give your email, so you may have problems with a temp email account. But don't try and create a new one - 2 accounts, 1 IP=ban2009-09-27 09:32:00

100 surveys for 1 game? Wow.2009-09-28 23:53:00

It's not 100 surveys for one game, actually. As I mentioned in the op, there are way more ways of earning points. Look, I'll lay it out there:

SwagBucks sucks. I've used it as my default search bar for months, and I only have 75 swagbucks. Hell, I even looked up swagcodes for extra bucks.

Lockerz doesn't even work for me. Pages don't load, and it shows me no way of earning ptz. Plus, the only page that DOES load, the store, seems constantly sold out.

P2S is the only one that works - and it works well. I had $7 after 2 days! That game you were talking about would've been mine in around two weeks - and I'd need to wait another 6 months or so before I can get the ONLY ONE game on swagbucks - Madden 09 - or wait for lockerz to fix itself.

Looking at BSprague's stats, he had $4 after just over a day, I think. Again, even without the other ways of earning points, that's a game in just over 2 weeks.

Just my 2 cents...or 7 dollars.

I've been using this website for about a week, and I think it's pretty great. Most of the offers are simple and quick, and I'm finding out that I rack up points fairly quickly. I'm particularly fond of the Shooting Game, mainly because I'm a naturally competitive person. I've yet to really play the Number Limbo, but it's an interesting enough concept, and I'll most likely get around to trying that out soon. I just spent $60 dollars on an FM transmitter for my truck at RadioShack, because it doesn't have a CD or cassette player. When I got home and checked Amazon, I found it for about $15. I'm returning it to RadioShack today, and I'll have enough points to order that by tomorrow. It's actually a very handy site, and I'm glad I got involved with it.2009-10-04 19:54:00

Haha, cool, lemme know how it goes.

I'm also going to take a photo of my prize that arrived with my username as proof for an extra 100 points, so I'll post that here when I do.

Ok this was necro's, so i should just ignore it.

However, that page is so awfully typed that it instantly suggests that it is just someone who did something stupid on there, and got banned, and decided to try and get back at them... just ignore it.

Sounds like something I'd wanna try, but how do you get the amazon credits? A code? Or do they need to know any personal details?

From the way you guys are talking, it sounds like it works...

Plus, can't you buy PSN store content off Amazon now?

Nah, I mean direct codes for DLC, like the MGS (http://www.amazon.com/LittleBigPlanet-Solid-Online-Add-Playstation-3/dp/B002IPHO22/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1277317239&sr=8-3-fkmr1) pack.

So, what kind of stuff do you have to fill out? Do you have to give the website your address, or phone number or anything that can get your ID stolen?

Make a new email for this stuff (you get tons of spam) and fake a ton of things find a real adress far away that isnt yours to use and use a fake name (I use John Burgoyne all the time for some reason ) most don't ask for phone though.

Its basically just tons of mindless clicking most of the time, i saw points2shop, and i like prizerebel better (Im not just saying that on purpose), prizerebel has a lot more prizes and codes are sent to your email and you can use your points for amazon too
