Pirates? Or Ninjas?

| Ah... The never ending fight between them. Take your side and explain your choice. I currently am siding with ninjas for many reasons, heres some. Ninjas can be disguised and can take down many people with bombs*. *- note that there are two kinds of ninjas. Modern, and old-style. Modern ninjas use any resource, including computers and bombs and guns, while old-style ones use only old-style weapons, and frown upon use of technology. They still get along, by the way. They are very sneaky and could take a pirate ship down by surrounding it with canoes and climbing aboard and kill the crew WITHOUT THE CAPTAIN KNOWING. Modern ones could always just put a bomb on the bottom and sink it.... Also they kill for a reason, for justice and a better world, while pirates kill for wealth. There are MANY OTHER REASONS, but these are a few. By the way.. listen to this. | My wife and I were recently asked this question by a group of friends. I gave the correct answer of course, ninjas. My wife (and most of the ladies) answered pirates, because of Jack Sparrow and Pirates of the Caribbean. This prompted me to remind her of last Halloween...when she dressed as a ninja! Pirates can recruit more members; ninja's cannot. Plus, they can hire ninjas to work for them. Wage slaves, anyone? -Brotherhood. A pirate has his swabbies to help him; a ninja is alone. -Experience. How long has piracy been around?: since Greek times (13th century BC). How long has ninja-cy been around?: since the 14th century (almost 2 millennia behind piracy). -Fear. Sure, a ninja scares people, but that's because people don't know when they come. Of course, a guy with a sword is deadly, but are they impossible to kill?: no. In a pirate's case, it's out of the question if you can kill the guy. It's if you can survive the onslaught... :kz: -Enduring presence. Ninjas faded away long ago once the samauri faded away. Pirates are still here; in fact, President Obama was considering sending our troops to Somalia to fight some. You never hear about serious ninja problems now, don't cha? It's like a fly and a cockroach. A ninja buzzes off, but a pirate never dies. -Cannons. Or in modern days, RPGs. That is all. I choose pirates! | My LBP levels are about ninjas, but I'm afraid that here I'm on the pirates side. Why? Well, pirates drink, get drunk, assault towns just for fun, wealth, or those two things at the same time, and besides, they always get the chicks, be it by force or not. In my case, I don't think that they would need to take me by force. Ninjas are all serious, while pirates can kill you while telling a joke. Besides, they are dirt and all that, while ninjas stick to some rules. Hell, pirates only stick to one rule: NO RULES AT ALL! And even being it that way, they manage to break that rule. | A couple things. Ninja's don't sing 'cause they are silent. Also they fight in groups if they want to! Also they can disguise themselves when they need to. | Ninjas have just become exaggerated due to Hollywood, while Pirates of the Caribbean did to pirates as Twilight did to vampires. In a real fight, a ninja would lose, and I'm not sure if ninjas are as stealthy as the media makes them out to be. We know how pirates were, though. They would walk into your town, kill your men, rape your women, eat your food, burn down your home, and walk away with a smile on their face. A better question would be vikings versus pirates.
