This is my 10th, and by far, most detailed, complex, and nice looking published level. My inspiration for this level came from the overwhelming amount of poor quality levels that a lot of players seem to just be throwing together and publishing without hesitation. I took my time and focused on every little detail of this level, scrutinizing every nook and cranny, and adjusting every logic gate so everything would work properly and efficiently. I am confident in my level enough to say that its on par with the story levels in aesthetics, delivery and over all fun factor. So If your tired of playing levels that are average at best try playing my level "Nirvana".

Hi, chaz

I just played your lvl and loved it!!!
it look awesome! I love the demon and info man! cute!
Gameplay and the obstacles are great!!! it was fun playing your lvl. Not too hard not too easy, nice! I love all of your obstacles!!!

one big complaint
The boss, i got stuck in the gun room, couldn't get out. the door won't open even I killed myself. T-T
Fix it, i will play it again.
one small complaint. when was playing, i couldn't hear any sound effect. did you put any speaker in your lvl?

overall, even I couldn't beat it because I got stuck, I'm still willing to give it :star::star::star::star::star: + a Heart

Hi! I have go to say that you REALLY put your time into this level. The level's theme plays out perfectly throughout the whole level. The models of the demons and the monk were great! Simplistic but cutely detailed! The platforming elements of the level were also fantastic. Although some areas were quite hard, you were nice enough to supply an infinite checkpoint! The level looked quite great graphically with all the little things going on in the background. The section where you needed coffee made me ROFL. Liked that the level had humor to it!
But there is 1 Huge problem! At the boss, the doors of little room with the infinite checkpoint and the paintinator close after the boss starts, therefore if sackboy dies then's he's stuck. Because of this I couldn't finish the level. This is major!
But seeing all the effort that you've put into this level I'm still willing to give you
:star::star::star::star:/Brilliant + Heart!
(The current 3 star rating is ridiculous)

Thank you guys so much for checking it out, and I fixed the door glitch so the level plays perfectly now. I dont know what to say about the sound effects, theres loads of speakers in there and when i play through it, they work fine. I'll do another play-through and see if i get the same problem. Wonderful level!
I enjoyed it a lot.
Very clever level design and awesome visuals.

It plays smooth and has some good puzzles.
I played it online with Goldenclaw13, a well known level breaker...he managed to break the level various times.

The first one is when you take the head of the demon.
You can grab on the light, swing on the near ledge, then jump on the roof and go right, on top of the mountain and down to the floor.

Then there's the problem Norihibito already told you, and finally you can get past the scoreboard room down to the logic switches.
But you have to ask GC13 how he did it.
We uploaded pics to prove it.

Anyway the level was really fun and well crafter, even if I hated you a bit on the 3 sections with the flaming trunks.

I rated the level 4 stars since it has some issues, but I promise that when you fix it, I'll replay it and rate it 5 stars and give you a heart.

hey nice level. Looked amazing. Although i was kind of disappointed in the new color correction you used on most of the level. I loved the color in the pictures and the gray colors take away from all the detail actually put into the level. The boss was great!

I really enjoyed this one, I wish that somehow you would get more attention for this because i saw that all your levels had plays in the hundreds.

I fixed the demon head glitch and the door glitch, but I couldn't figure out where he got out of at the ending, could you ask him to tell you next time yor playing with him? I'd to get this level spotlighted.

Hey chazbell, like Omega Slayer was saying earlier I managed to break out of the level multiple times (Nothing against you, I love breaking out of levels).

Just for your information, That last checkpoint, where we fell in those clouds and went right up to the scoreboard, well when I came out of the last checkpoint I can't remember exactly but i think I was holding R1 and right...Or maybe i was just tapping R1 repeatedly...Either way it was cool, I got to see a lot of your logic

But now really, the level itself was amazing. I struggled to keep up with the platforming aspect, while admiring the aesthetics. Very nice. I enjoyed it a lot even with the lag OmegaSlayer brought xD

And also, in the little room where when you shoot the 3 little critters with that paint ball thing, after all the bubbles dropped down from the vent, I was able to (with OmegaSlayers help) climb up to the little area where all the bubbles had been stored. Very minor, I know, but this level should be spotless

If it was my pod and if I could have rated it, I would give four stars and a heart, an excellent level. But nothing's perfect

Hi Chazbear

I've played your level a few hours ago and here are my thoughts :-)

Pros & Cons (well, there ain't no "real" cons, more things I would suggest to make it in a differnt way) - in order they appear in the level
* I really have to say that I like your visual style that you used to create the mountain-area in this level. It looks great and supports the atmosphere of the level very much! The idea to make a thin woodcut as some sort of passage-surface is clever: it gives the player a clear view where he has to jump next and where it's save to walk. I like that style!!! Looks very unique.
* You've used the three layers in a wonderful way to create a depth in this level - amazing!!!
* After a short walk you reach the place where a big board is moving from left to right and back again - The idea to sticker two asia-themed heads on that board and make a cutoff into the stone-wall at the exact place where the two heads stand still is nice :-)
*the big scale-element (well, it looks like a scale): it was a bit odd that I jump in the lower box, grab and then the "thought-it would-be-the-heavyer-side" moves up: here I would suggest this: what about a inccident, that after grabbing the pillow, a big pile of heavy materials falls into the left (higher) box of this big scale? So it makes more sense that the left side (the lower one) moves up... btw, this would be a nice visual-effect too
*the area with the two huge stone/pillow wheels where you have to push them down to get the weight off that big upgoing element: this was very nice!!! but: the use of the jetpack was also a bit odd because (LOL) I wouldn't expect a jetpack in an ancient asia land :-) Also I want to mention, that the element that moves up after the stone-wheels have been moved away looks a bit clean and empty - some decos or stickers would be nice
* after this element follows a part with three waterfalls in the background: the left two look like the setting of the pistons that moves them up and down is a bit too slow (look at the right one, it moves with a higher speed and this one looks way better) (btw: there is still a little hole in the stone, right below the two left waterfalls - I think this has not been intended ^^
* for my taste: the change of the music doesn't fit the levels atmosphere at this time (but well, that's just the way I experienced it while playing this area)
* the big cove where you have to jump and walk to higher levels (created in three-layer-style as well) is AWESOME!!! nothing more to say - I love this scenery
* after that there comes a "Sensei" on that bridge: I expected a mouth-tool with some more story-telling, but there wasn't. That was also a bit odd. And (lol) the light to the right in the upper section of this little room is still white - I guess it used to be blue like the other 5 lights in this elemnt ^^
* The room with this closed passage in the rear layer is also amazing. I love the structur of this one - it's brilliant - (was it planned that the mag-key-switch and the mag-key that opens the closed door are still visible)?
* The demon-stuff was great - and the coffe-machine element was very very nice and a real cool idea - even if this element was also a bit odd in this asia-themed level LOL... but it was a great puzzle and I lovee it too
* the boss-fight and the visuals of the boss are pretty cool!!

After all, I had a lot of fun with this great level - plattforming at it's best - some really new and fresh ideas - great atmosphere - unique style (impressive!!)

Due to some of the things I mentioned, this level "only" gets :star::star::star::star: even if it's definitely VERY VERY close to 5 stars!!! Most of the things I mentioned (the suggestions) are not really very important. But in total they took away the fifth star (and that was a close decision).

Nevertheless, this level is a must play to me - I love it!!

I am really annoyed right now. I liked this level a lot though it wasn't much of a challenge, it was still fun. Almost aced it except a few deaths. The deaths were mainly on the first demon floating around on a cloud with black gas and shot things out from under cloud. My deaths were from hopping over the platforms but missing the last platform which I jumped since demon was coming and couldn't wait around.

But the annoyance is that I just beat the boss and have (did have) a score of around 115,000 and something, but I am stuck in the boss room (was) in the small space with the checkpoint. It seems a gas layer has appeared in front of me trapping me in the little room. I can't get to any other plane, just stuck in little space with checkpoint. Am I missing something? I think this is the same problem SiXth mentioned. So I killed myself.

Other than that problem the level is great. Not the best, but can definitly tell hard work went into it. Also, I just beat it and my score FAILED TO UPLOAD and I had more than double the current high score. I know this has nothing to do with the level. I'm just mentioning how I hate that when it happens. Lol.
But I will be playing it again until my score uploads. ^_^

I even took this pic in hopes that my score would show and it didn't. Yes, as you can tell I am proud of my score which was somewhere around 120,000. Who wouldn't be?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I saw a grab switch and sensor switch, and don't remember what else that were vissible, Mainly in the part with the platforms and grab tree that lead to the coffee.

this is a very nice level you have. it looks absolutely amazing, and plays like some sort of mario brother on seroids.... "Roidragio" thats what his name would be. but i liked it alot! the demons were very demonic, and it over just had a lovely eastern influence.... felt much like an Mm level to me. 5/52009-10-04 00:29:00

Well 1st thing i did was take my picture with the Monk, he's so simply but effectively designed. Great challenges in this, not punishingly hard but enough so you have to take a bit of skill and care - ideal in my book. Looks and plays really great!2009-10-04 23:03:00

Wow, that's an impressive gap. I must have missed a secret stash of bubbles just when I thought I got all the optional bubbles, plus I only died once the whole level that run as I was going for ace but died on a part I usually never die on, lol.

Not sure if I can beat it, but I'll try when I get the chance. Actually, that one death of mine might have done it considering that dying with a high score does take down a HUGE chunk of score. But you didn't ace it either, so that must mean there's a bubble stash I failed to find since I chained all of the bubbles everywhere bubbles could be chained

It's been a long time since I played this level, but if I know where all the optional bubbles are, I assure you I can beat your score. But if I can't find everything, then there's a possibilty I won't. Anyways I'll get to it some day soon.

Also, I hope you saw OmegaSlayer's post above about the F4F.
