Remember That One Flash Game...?

Archive: 3 posts

Has anyone played that one flash game, where you have to move your cursor from start to finish, avoiding obstacles, but you COULDN'T see your cursor?

Instead, there were eyes that looked in your direction, and you had to estimate where you were.

I've been thinking... This would be possible in LBP!

The only thing is, you could easily hit L1, and it would say where you are...

Also, on multiplayer, you'd get frustrated, and wouldn't be able to tell where you are...

I guess I could say that hitting L1 is a cheat code, and you should only hit it when you get stuck, or you'll have a boring experience.

I mean, the level would be surprisingly easy to make. You make a maze, Put a wall over it, so you can't see yourself, and put Creature Eyes in some areas...

Then you'd just need to make the walls lethal, and copy the walls into the front thin layer, so you can see where they are...

Give the player a jetpack, and it's good!

I searched "Eyes" and "Creature + Eye" so I don't think there are any other posts like this... (Yes, I've been having problems with Search lately, and I don't wanna be annoying.)

Never heard of that game but it sounds like a pretty cool idea to me! Difficult... but fun. Nice to see more people making use of the Search tool... it doesn't always work, but it's nice to see that you tried.

I'd say you have a good concept here that is worthy of making. It shouldn't take too long either. Let us know when it's done, I'd love to try it out.

Have you played "Hint: Press Square" or something like that? It sounds a bit like what you are talking about. I can't remember who created it but it is my hearted list if you want to see it.2009-09-25 17:16:00
