Evening all.

Wow, it's been a long time since I used a forum that allowed personal introductions. I don't really know what to say.

Basically, I signed up because after playing LBP online for a bit and making a few levels, I realised that the game isn't really *that* well designed in terms of being a hub for friend-making or searching for new levels. I've played all the stuff that constantly hovers at the top of Cool Levels, Most Hearted etc. as well as everything that hovers on page 1 for searches for specific tags.

So, basically, I just want to find cool new levels to play (I'm betting there's a ton listen on here that never got the recognition they deserved), and also to add mine to the roster in case anyone's interested in them.

Anyway, I hope we all get along.

Thanks! Yeah, I was just reading about your Feedback for Feedback system. Sounds absolutely ideal.

Now if only I could work out how to get these screenshots OFF my PS3 and onto my PC... I wonder if I can use my PSP for that?

Hello and welcome to LBPC.

It's easy to get your pics onto your laptop. Just export to HDD when in the game, then go to photo's on PS3, put a little gadget into the thingy on the front press a lot of buttons, remove the gadget and put it into the thingy on the lap top and then press a lot more buttons, hey presto, done!!

Hope that is nice and clear for you!!!!!!!!!

Have fun,

Icey

You've definitely come to the right place... It's great for finding the best levels, but it's also a place where you can meet some of the best level creators around, and not to mention a great venue for getting your own level seen and recognized.

Spotlight's good, as well as our own "Cool Levels (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=81)" page, which is under "Level Showcase" (as mentioned already). There's also a "Recommendations" forum which always has cool stuff, even if it isn't frequently updated.

The forum set-up's fantastic for promoting a strong community as well. It just sucked me right in.

Also, here's an inside tip! In the game, heart the creator "littlexim". Check their hearted page - this is Mm's own list of favorite levels. It's a sure-fire way to find cool stuff, and includes all of their "Mm Picks" to date, plus a bunch of others.

What she said. Welcome to the forum. There are lots of cool levels all over the place: community spotlight, level showcase, reviews, etc. You're sure to find plenty to keep you entertained into the wee hours of the morning despite the constant drive-by motorcycles with broken mufflers or neighbors calling the cops about the noise or nosy cops showing up and prying your fingers from the controllers while lying about trying to help you and locking you in a padded room with bright lights and no ps3 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! !!2009-09-25 15:52:00

Welcome! Glad ya made it!

Besides the Community Spotlight, there is also a recommendation section that are usually some gems our members have found outside the LBPC community!

Another cool trick I do is check out the hearted levels of your favorite creators. I have found a lot of great stuff I wouldn't have otherwise found.

Have fun!
