What we didn't know is how that game's adorable mascot, SackBoy (pictured here), will also be checking into another PlayStation 3 game. The latest issue of Game Informer reports that SackBoy will appear as a bonus character at some point in the future for the PlayStation Network downloadable title Pain. Though the magazine doesn't provide any information on when or how SackBoy will be made available, we can already hear the cringes and gasps PS3 owners will be making as they whip the poor guy into various death traps to rack up points. Upon hearing the news about SackBoy's journey to Pain, Nick Suttner, the author of 1UP's review of the downloadable game, immediately raised the score three grades and proclaimed Pain his runner-up game of the year. Behind LittleBigPlanet, of course.

That's quite cool I suppose, I just don't want it to go too far down that road, I saw on PSN Kratos is available on a golf game. A Golf game? He whores himself out one step too far methinks. I hope sackboy doesn't go too much further afield.

Hmmm. Can't see anyone ever wanting to hurt sackboy! Was just thinking about other ways sackboy could sell out: Sackboy Kart? A Crossover character in the NEXT Soul Calibur game? Sackboy Sports titles? Resistence:Fall of Sackboy? Yeah, it could get rediculous! Hopefully the PAIN one will be the one and only crossover, unless any others are VERY well planned and thought out and also, appropriate and not just stupid like Kratos playing Golf.

Lol, yea I just got the news from Kotaku, and go figure, they feel the exact opposite as you do on the subject (I'm with you on this one, no golf for sackboy... unless it's a creative user level in lbp!) Heh. I can see where Kotaku is coming from, yes, I'm sure more people play HSG, but, sackboy is essentially a rag doll, in a rag doll physics based game. That makes some modocome of sense, whereas suddenly making him a golfer (Sorry Kratos, but that's you again!) is whoring him out (in my opinion of course) one step too far with something completely unreleated to his character. Is that the sackboy they plan to use in PAIN? Looks like Hans Sackboy Solo to me...
