Title explains it, about to get a PS3, want to know what game I could really have fun with that won't bore me till October 21st, please explain why the game is fun so I can decide. Thanks!

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune - Good adventure game, decent story, decent action and trophies will keep you busy. Warhawk - its only 30 bucks w/o the xpacs, lots of action, very addicting and trophies will keep you busy. Super Stardust HD - Cheap (15.99 i think), Fun and addicting, simple to play difficult to master, and trophies will keep you busy. Hmm...pattern?

For SUPER value, if you like any sort of racing, go for Burnout Paradise at $30. (There's a post in the Best PSN games for further info.) You could easily drown 150 hours into that game and STILL want more. If you like FPS multiplayer, I'd also suggest Battlefield: Bad Company. Very addicting, and easy to blow lots of time in. (I've never played Warhawk, so I don't know how that compares.) I've also heard Resistance is great (only played the demo, which was pretty fun) and I believe it's dropped to $30, as well. But from what I KNOW, Burnout Paradise will keep you plenty busy for a while to come. I lasted on that and CoD4 for all Summer.

Uncharted is a great game but unless you really stretch it out there's no way it'll lasy you until LBP. If you're old enough to play it GTA IV could fill the gap before LBP easily, it took me a month to get everything done in it.

Uncharted, MGS4, COD4, Resistance, Ratchet and Clank (especially now you can download the 3-4 hour bonus game from the store!) or Star Wars the complete saga. Any of these'll keep you busy!

I'd go with Resistance now it's cheap, Ratchet and Clank now it's cheap, and potentially Uncharted now it's cheap. Looks like the platinum range came in just in time for you!

MGS4 - if you are into this series this is a good game, it has great graphics but it is a game you must be fan of the series, it has long cutscenes and the ending takes forever. MGO which comes with it is a okay on-line game. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - this is fun game also and really a great on-line game to play, alot of fun people to play with on-line. Also it is cheap. Resistance - well this game is also a fun game, a new twist with WW2 and aliens added together. From the creators of Ratchet and Clank and they like adding alot of cool weapons, a great on-line game also. Also it gets you ready for Resistance 2 when that comes out. Well Ratchet and Clank is also a fun game if you are into these games, it is a solid game and also you can add to the game by getting the new game from on-line. Oblivion - is the best RPG game on the PS3, and it is a must have if you havn't played it. This one game will take your time up until LBP with no problem. Some people don't like it because it just leaves you in the world and you seem lost in the world, but I found this game the best game so far on the PS3. Uncharted - from the creators of Jak and Dax, Naughty dog did really well with this game, great graphics, good story line and it is fun to play. I think the shooting is not up there with other games but it is not about that and about having a adventure. You also get trophies. Well I hope this helps you out, I am not sure when Bioshock is out but that game is a improved game and what I have played of it the game is fun. Also Fallout 3 is looking like a fun game also. MGS4 - is a great game but you kind of need to have played the others AND Soul Calibur IV - this is a very fuin game and I have recently got it and am having alot of fun

MetalGearSolid 4 if you want to be wowed. I was seriously blown away by the game. The story, graphics, and voice overs are top notch!
