Dodge wave after wave of plasma spewing turrets in an increasingly difficult survival challenge! With a fully functioning rank system, you'll be sure to be perfecting the plasma patterns!

Hi there! I spent alot of time on this. It's my baby. Tweaking everything, making everything transition smoothly, working out plasma patterns... I really think I have a very finely tuned level. And even though some days it sucked me away from life, I had a great time putting it together and learning new ways to create things in the LBP world!

Anyways, in Thrashed by Plasma, you find yourself in an old forgotten room that leads to ancient plasma ruins... ooOOooOOooHH! Scary? Yah? I just kind of made that up... You're dropped into an old dirty metal room where you are taken to the plasma ruins, where you will dodge plasma like you've never dodged before.

Face off with increasingly difficult and visually appealing turrets as they get harder and harder to avoid! How far will you get? How much will you see? Not much, I guarantee...

And no, it's not stupid hard. It is very challenging though. I spent alot of time mostly on the stuff towards the end. I wouldn't spend so much time on it if I didn't want people to get to see it!

Also, features a fully functioning rank system!

Up to 6 stars are attainable! But you should shoot for 3 for now? Yah? Don't want you getting your hopes up... I won't laugh... It's cool man... Why don't you just put that PS3 controller away... Next to your tampons...

How long will you last until your pitiful sackboy is... THRASHED BY PLASMA!?

I really would love to get some plays on this. Maybe even some heartage. I love creating levels and I have a ton of ideas for Thrashed by Plasma 2, but I want to see if the community appreciates this level before I throw so much time and effort into another one. I spent a month and a half on this! Plus the thermo is about to explode... I've gotten tons of positive feedback from the few who have played, but I'd love some more!

See you in the game!

Oooh, this level is a thing of beauty

I love the clean, retro visuals.... The turrets look great, the background detailing looks very cool. I really like the intro as well - simple but really good looking.

Up to now, the best "bullet hell" level I've seen is Plasma Ball 4000 by Rienheart57. It's a great level... but I think yours may surpass it in terms of gameplay.
The big difference is that you clearly show your individual turrets, marking out their aim with lasers; which I think is better for gameplay. You've also got a very neat rating system.

I didn't survive for very long, which is frustrating because I expect you saved the best stuff for last. But I will definately be back on to have another go and improve my rating.

oh wow, I feel like I could have written this. I think we work in similar ways

also, we just released two similarly-themed levels after working on them for similar amounts of time. great minds think alike eh? :arg:

Just updated a little bit, consolidated a lot of stuff behind to scenes and lowerd the thermometer a little bit, I'm pretty sure this has completely gotten rid of the Failed to Load Level bug that a few people were getting.

Also, a few minor graphical updates, nothing noticeable unless you've played through it 40 times... which im sure... you haven't even played through it once... haha.

Also the main camera is a little more tuned. I think its angled perfectly now. Gives you a good view of your sackboy and lets you see everything happening in the level.

Good thing I just updated, this thread was sinking into the abyss! heh heh... heh... uughh..

[EDIT] One more thing, any little feedback I get, I'd like to know if I should make it easier. I think it's good how it is, if you want to master it, it's definetely gonna take a lot of tries, but then again, I notice when I die, it's hardly ever because my sackboy is overwhelmed, but mainly because I lose track of the pattern and die from something that was easily avoidable :/

Anyways, please let me know, all constructive criticism is welcome. I think I've said "Alright, finally done with this level once and for all! Whoo!" about 25 times...

Are ... are you saying I'm bad at this game?

How long will you last until your pitiful sackboy is... THRASHED BY PLASMA!?

You are, you are saying that!

Well ... well I'll just have to show you ...

One more thing, any little feedback I get, I'd like to know if I should make it easier.

I'll play it later tonight or tomorrow and give feedback when I can.

Great level, I couldn't find it when I searched for it, but you commented somewhere and I found the level through there.

I thought that the level was generic at first, but then I noticed that different plasma was being shot. I never got far...
If I remember, I may try it again later, I forgot what I rated the level, but I think I hearted it.
