I have heard that a Creator Pack 2 is coming out on September 25, but I can't find any thread that contains much useful information... I have also heard a rumor that 'co-op create" will be added in this too-but how is this so? You can already Create with up to 3 friends on one system, so I am thinking strongly that this is actually a new feature that will allow you to bring your online friends onto your own My Moon with you to build fascinating levels and fun objects together. Even more exciting than the tantalizing idea of Creating with your online buddies, I heard another now seemingly un-true rumor-that the beta version of LBP's new water will be included in this mysterious new Creator Pack... But then I read in another forum that people can sign up to test Water Beta specially with given permission..... does anyone know if any of these rumors are actually true, or if a Creator Pack 2 is even in the making? Rumors can be very confusing sometimes and always hide the truth, and I wish to know more.... Anyone knowledgeable about this exciting theory is more than welcome to post their wisdom for all questions on the subject to be answered. Thank you for your help!

Creator Pack 2 is probably NOT coming out on 25 September. If it were, I imagine Spaff would have posted something this Thursday. Of late, Mm/Spaff has announced new content a week or two before, let us soak in our anticipation, then posted again on the day the stuff comes out. Since PlayStation Store makes weekly releases on Thursday (in the US), that means the ship has sailed. If it were next week, we'd know already. If it was supposed to be next week, it won't be...and I'd guess that would coincide with whatever they might be choosing to stuff into Creator Pack 2. Ultimately, though, I'd contain ALL excitement until you see at least a 10/15MB patch appear when you boot LBP. That generally coincides with new content packs a few weeks later.

If someone remembers how that happened, it might give us a good indication of whether or not to expect it.

water is still in beta. once the beta period ends, MM will be fixing it. i would say it would take at least a month after beta ends. i cant tell you when beta ends, and if i did know, i wouldn't be allowed to tell you

I can't remember if there was any prior information about Creator Pack 1 before it actually came out. Yes BSprague we did have an announcement from MM about the Creator Pack 1 before it came out. "Shortly after the Cornish Yarg patch, we?ll be releasing another free update, which will be provisionally available on the Playstation Store on the 23rd, and contains a set of functions and creator tools to help you tweak levels and invent new fun things for us to play!" by Spaff Rumors are rumors for a reason Until they can provide a valid source don't believe them.

We had a confirmed [provisional lol] date for create pack 1 3 weeks in advance and actual announcements of it prior to that. As snowyjoe says, unless you see something on MMs site or posted by a memeber of the MM team, don't believe it Especially not, if like this, it's a rumour from a user created level!

So there you have it. I'd assume MediaMolecule would stay consist with this and we will be hearing about Creator Pack 2 several weeks prior to it's release.

The online create beta hasn't finished yet. (and I should know, i'm in it )
