There seems to be a few new problems with level keys going round, i thought I'd start a thread about it, it might get noticed by TPTB and looked into. Problem 1 - Old one this, but Level Keys that are sent to your friends can not be deleted. I've currently got about 40 useless keys in my Pop-it. Problem 2 - I've come across no corrupt data with my LBP files, except two corrupted Level Keys to my own levels (which now have a red exclamation mark beside them). I've gotten round it by capturing them as objects from the published level but this might indicative of a problem. Problem 3 - Level Keys being sent/collected in community levels aren't opening up the corresponding levels. I just tried to play Ccubbages newie and it won't unlock for me. I've collected the key in his locked level, and he also sent it as a captured object. Neither is working for me. I had the same problem with Comphermc's current level. Apparently Ninja and Ccubbage are also both having problems...anyone else..?

I've got the first problem, though I think everyone has that. It's kinda tough on LBPC: The Game, because Lady Luck and MrsSpookyBuz both have those problems, so they have to go on other accounts. May cause problems later on if it goes as planned and you need to unlock a key to unlock the next level... I really hope it's fixed before then.

I've had problems 1 and 3. I'm not sure if this is entirely the case, but it seems that keys don't work if you collect them in a level and don't finish with the scoreboard. Ive had a few cases where i forget i have to finish, and didn't get the key, but when i go back on an alternate account and finish it works fine.

I've had problems 1 and 3. I'm not sure if this is entirely the case, but it seems that keys don't work if you collect them in a level and don't finish with the scoreboard. Ive had a few cases where i forget i have to finish, and didn't get the key, but when i go back on an alternate account and finish it works fine. I never finish the level (for key rooms) and it registers just fine. Maybe I'm mistaken, though. Good idea for a thread. These are some serious issues.

Keys cannot be deleted since forever but the fact that now they are totally borked and unuseable sure is new. Do you guys always send a Email to Media Molecule when you find bugs? I even wonder if Media Molecule knows that new levels can't be searched... .

I have all the problems mentioned, had them for many months now. Problem 2, it's been happening for awhile now. Believe it or not, all my level keys (except for the locked ones) are corrupted, really hope MM fixes this!! Problem 3, it started happening around the Summer. Also, ever since Cornish Yarg if you delete a level, the levels key remains... Before when you deleted a level, the level key would also be deleted at the same time. Really annoying because I have soooo many keys now, so useless

Yeah, this has been kind of a bummer. Although, you can create a different PSN to play locked levels... I've had to start doing this recently with beta levels. But my main PSN (CuzFeeshe) has not let me collect keys for several weeks. The "sound" of the level opening happens, and a "dotted" line appears pointing to the level, but the level never opens.

I've had all of these problems like....forever. Keys are glitchy as hell.

I think everyone has #1 and I have had #3 for a while now, it's really annoying especially since I have like 3 levels that are locked that I have hearted...

Can i just add in that when you collect a key from another level on cool levels or when you search one up, play the level, get the key, it doesn't show you which level you opened up? The new level unlocked animation only works when you're browsing through the users published levels... me thinks.... or it might just be me having this problem.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but it's relevant to my question. Has 'Problem 2' been fixed yet? As I currently have two level keys which are not working at the moment and I can't find a solution or thread about this anywhere else... Edit: I also posted this on the Official EU LBP forums, but not having much luck there...

I republished the level over the original one and it gave me another key which I think was ok. As for other players locked levels though they still don't unlock when I collect the keys for them.

Did you delete the keys first, then republish over the original level?
